I agree that you have to love your job to give good bedside manor. If you are in it for the money than you don't care how you treat the patients. Thats in the ER, OB, or any other floor at any hospital. Plus that of EMS.

Like I have already said, everyone has their own opinions. If you dont like him or community dont go there. Doctors, and nurses have to put up with different kinds of people and illness on a day to day basis. Some patients are not the nicest people themselves when they are sick. I hope for your sake that every time you go to regional that there is a doctor there. It would be a horrible thing is someone died because their ER was not covered be a doctor. And for JessiMac if you cant handle all the stuff that you heard, you might need to find a new career. You will be hearing stuff like that alot. Plus you can hear talk like that at any job.

I dont know why he left regional. I dont know whats in his head. Maybe he knew which was the better hospital. We have different opinions about dr. wheelis. U dont like him that is fine. Dont go back to community then. Oh by the way how high was the fever.

I know wheelis. I work at the hospital for a few years. Yes, he does have his moments when he can be a pain in the !!!.
He works in the EMERGENCY ROOM. This is for people who cant breath, are who is cardiac arrest, or bleeding to death. Not for people who has a sore throat, or coughing and so on. Some people come in there for attention, or looking for drugs over and over again. He is a good doctor, and is even better when there is a TRUE EMERGENCY.
