I live in SC, my husband's family lives in Natchez. We bothed work(ed) for HMA (the owner of Natchex Community Hospital.) Our hospital here has recently had layoffs and I was one of them. After researching the internet, we have found out the HMA is in serious trouble financially and could possibly be closing or selling some assets in the very near future. All the information is available online at TheStreet.com. I feel for anyone working for HMA right now, things are getting scary.
