NCH pays taxes to Adams County, NRMC does not, NCH employees spend their salaries in Adams County; NCH profits do stay in the county. A well run hospital is in business to make money not lose money. If this effort to help county employees with their co-pay generates more patients that will take care of any losses. Be thankful that we have healthcare in this county that really cares.

It would be really nice if we had a newspaper that had no prejudice toward one health care facility. If the exact facts are not known have the good grace to say something like " injured were taken to area hospitals for treatment." That way no one who came in extra or stayed over from the night shift will feel unappreciated by the community. We have several area health care facilities all who do a great job for this community. While these people don't expect or need a pat on the back from the Democrat, it does I am sure hurt to always feel left out by the local paper. This is not the first time such an error has occurred.

Who is ripping apart Biden's life. Palin's record can stand up to the scrunity of the press. I would just like to know when the good ole boys will question a male canidate on how he will manage family and public office. Women do it every day in every state in the Union.

This story did not mention that Natchez C0mmunity is up and running with no losses. Also NCH is helping out NRMC and their patients and MD's by opening up extra OR rooms to accomadate. NCH was well prepared for the storm with a genarator large enough to run the entire hospital.
