There are plenty more scriptures along this line. These are only two. There is no Christian justification for this doctor being gunned down in a church. Any attempt to justify this as a "Christian" act is stretching truth to a dangerous point and the stretcher needs to closely examine himself/herself. But then, I've not been following the talk radio stuff and have no idea what is being said except right here.

Yes Beverly, you are correct. Words are powerful. We can speak curses or blessings. Even though people seem to have forgotten this or think they are "enlightened" above it, the truth does not change.

I knew Leslie back in the 70's when he was part of a push to build a zoo here in Natchez. We lost him to Alexandria which was a tremendous blessing to them. I've not been to a large number of zoos but Alexandria has one of the finest with the credit going to Leslie. I'm sorry to read of his passing away.
