It seems this statement was made about the bingo… ”The company expected to have around $8.4 million pass through the bingo hall with $6.2 million of that being returned to the players. Of the remaining 2.2 million, $1.1 million would be given to charities and $436,800 would go to the town. Additional money would go to pay for local advertising and salaries”
That comes to a profit for the company of $55,266.66 a week. That seems like a lot of money for a company to take in. Nevertheless, how many employees would they have and how much would they be paid. What about the rent, insurance, and then taxes. How much would be left, each week? These are questions I would like to see the paper ask and research.
However, can it truly be that this area of Ferriday can produce $161,538.46 a week to Bingo? That is for the 4,111 [population of Ferriday by the town website] that is a total of $2,043.29 that each person would have to waste at the parlor each year. Can someone tell me that there is that much money in Ferriday that can be wasted?
What would each of us do if we had that much to waste, the average family would waste over $8,000 a year.
If this is so then there must be more money in Ferriday and the surrounding area than I believe it is, I guess I need to see if I can find where it is hidden as I don't have it... do you?

To win the football or sporting event is good, but it is not the most important thing. Coach Faircloth has taught thousands of young people, and I am one of those that he had from 1969 to 1972. When he came to Vidalia, he began teaching values and living a life that was and still is an example to us all. He taught us how to win in life by our failures and success on the football field, basketball court, and track. In those days that was the only three sports that there was. Coach has done more for the Vidalia youth than any person that I have known and there have been some great ones in my fifty-three years as Billy Shaw, Mr. Stamply, Coach Roy Rushing, Mr. Craft (father of Jerry, and Kerry), Coach Lloyd, Coach Marsalis and others. However, the Coach...Coach Faircloth, stands a head above them all. He has always been there for all the youth, even the ones that do not play sports. Just think about it, all the kids he had taught over the years, he has taught values, how to be dependable, how to achieve, and most of all he has and is still there. Coach is the MAN and he always will be the one teacher that ever adult and child in Vidalia knows and cares about. Winning the game does not even come close to what he has accomplished, he is a winner at life and has taught us all and is still teaching our great grand kids the values of life.

Why don't the cities of Vidalia and Natchez and the County and Parish Government, look into the electric buggy's, don't some local company make something like that, the downtown police route could be done on them as the Vidalia Chief stated, using a gas cart, well an electric would be a lot cheaper and also it would no noise!!!
I know replacing the golf carts with them would to costly, but it could be done little by little, maybe the company would put some there for rent.
Just an idea

"The policemen have been having a good many problems from Bowie’s to pretty much anywhere on Main Street,” she said."
Now if the problem is bad as she saids it is and it sounds like it is, then why isn't the "Natchez Chamber of Commerce", doing something about it. It would seem like that would be the number one thing on their mind and the most important thing to solve.

As a young boy I remember Mr.Smith and the printing company. I know he meant a lot to my parents the late Willie and Estelle Brown. I wish so much I could be there at the funeral, but I send out my love to all the family members from Vermont.

I know I was most likly get slammed for this but think about what I am going to say. I do not want anyone to be riping anyone else off. But what did the walking preacher do that was wrong. Not tell everyone everything about himself? Do each of us tell everyone everything about ourselves.
My question is ..is he saved, has he changed his life and does anyone know for sure that he was not told from God to walk the roads and talk about Jesus.
It seems and maybe i read it wrong or i do not know everything as I did not sit in a service and listen to him, that he was a very bad person in the past and was then covicted and then served his time. Now did he ask for things from people fooled them into giving to him. I bet their are people all over town asking for things from people and telling them all the facts.
i would like to hear from some of the preachers and some of the people in the services locally that this man spoke at and let them tell what this man say and ask for or didn't ask for. I would like to hear from the local Ministers that meet this amn and heard this, how did they feel when he spoke, was God using him or not. These men are suppose to be God's choosen and they should have know if this man was doing something wrong.
i do not know this man that walks the road and I did not listen to him, but if all anyone has is he was convicted of something and he served his time for it, then what is the problem... I know the rape word came up. He still served his time..OK, I know he is lying, ... But I would like to know is he lying or is he just not telling everything and if that is the case, the jails in Adams County are going to be full tonight....the newspaper do not tell everything, the public officials do not tell everything and what are they hidding...What are the leaders and county lawyers hidding... I bet it was some people and maybe some ministers sitting in the pews on those days this man was speaking that was not telling everyone, everything about themselves.
I will close with this....has anyone looked into all the places this Man has walked and all the churchs this man has spoken at, what were the results, were people saved, what fruit was left behind, because of his words were lives changed.
If he is leaving the churchs in turmoil, causeing problems between the people in the church, and leading people away from Jesus then that would be different. But still I come back to this, "Why didn't some of these men and women of God that was supposing to be in the service not told by GOd that this man was not sent by God. Why did they stand up in the service and say, Man God did not sned you here and you are a fraud and I am going to throw you out of this church, Sir, and run you out of this town for my GOD has told me you are not of HIM.

Who came up with the first part of this article, I know before some of you get started this is not important but to write, " For the Adams County Christian Rebels, the devil is in the details"
Christian school plus paper usinf devil - maybe I do not understand and the christian on the school name is just a word with no meaning.
On Adams Christian learning the basics in practice
