Damn.....if it aint one thing its another. Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the GOP vice presidential candidate, is being represented by an attorney in the investigation into the firing of her public safety commissioner.

The Legislature is investigating whether Palin fired public safety commissioner Walt Monegan after he refused to fire a state trooper who had divorced Palin's sister.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are some provocative photos to come out at this rate ......I guarantee there will be some type of settlement to get him out the way. Or maybe they will make him look so bad that he will go away.

IS THIS REALLY A MAVERICK OR A BULLY.

POT CALLING KETTLE BLACK

Everyone who is still talking about Rev Wright, don’t forget this either.

The televangelist, San Antonio megachurch leader John Hagee, has
referred to the Roman Catholic Church as "the great whore" and called it a
"false cult system" and "the apostate church"; the word "apostate" means
someone who has forsaken his religion.
He also has linked Adolf Hitler to the Catholic Church, suggesting it
helped shape his anti-Semitism.
"What he holds about Catholicism in my mind is despicable," said the Rev.
James Heft, religion professor at the University of Southern California. "I
totally reject Hagee's view of Catholicism, but I don't know how widely
known it is."
McCain's response to the controversy has been tepid, Heft said.
Following two days of criticism, McCain issued a statement saying only that
he doesn't agree with everything Hagee says.
"In no way did I intend for his endorsement to suggest that I in turn
agree with all of Pastor Hagee's views, which I obviously do not," McCain
said. Before issuing the statement, he told reporters he was "proud" of
Hagee's spiritual leadership of his congregation.

John McCain QUIT on the POWs in Vietnam.
The belief by many POW/MIA was that there were POW left there in large numbers. McCain investigated and reported that there was no evidence that proves that POWs still existed in Vietnam. After his recordings of these findings, Vietnam had their relations normalized with the U.S. within two years. This action caused him to be vilified by many POW/MIA activists.

Why is McCain receiving so many props for his time in the military anyway? Don’t get me wrong, I am sympathetic to his plight while serving time as a POW. That was a horrible ordeal and my heart goes out to him and all other former and current POW. I am sure that this is something that will psychologically affect him for the rest of his life. Hopefully, he has received all the mental treatment he will need to run this country. Hopefully, he won’t use a platform as such to get even with a past enemy. Hopefully, he is psychologically and physically capable to perform all the tasks needed and keep a sharp mental attitude at this age, especially after so much torture early in his life.

I guess we are supposed to give John McCain some type of veteran’s allowance like in a contract bid where veterans and minorities sometimes get special considerations.
Maybe, it is a fact that any type of jail gives you some type of O-G pass. I guess it’s like when the rappers and gangsters brag about being shot or in jail while representing for the hood. They are looked at as harder, or OG.

I am not even so sure about his character and integrity either. I mean even though he did refuse at first (allegedly), he later participated in creating anti-American propaganda as a condition to be released while a POW. So, eventually, he QUIT resisting that too.

He actually was never a good student in the naval academy. Known as a party guy, he finished 894 of 899 in his class. He was a screw-up and was also present when 134 soldiers were killed when there was an explosion on board a ship (Forrestal), where he was involved in some type of dissatisfaction with their command. He was even on record calling his commanders complete idiots. I don’t believe this contributed to the fire, but is worth mentioning to show his pattern of disobedience. He was on the bombing unit and that’s where the problem was in that accident. Maybe their non-committed attitude to command contributed to this negligence. He subsequently transferred to another ship where he was later shot down.

I DON’T WANT A QUITTER AS MY PRESIDENT!!

John McCain QUIT on his first wife , ex-model Carol Shepp.
She was crippled while he was away and when he came back they both had some rehabilitating to do. Once he got better, John McCain admittedly cheated on her. He wouldn’t even wait for her to get better. Then, a couple of years later he asked her for a divorce so he could marry a new rich girl he had met several months earlier. This new woman, Cindy Lou Hensley, would go on to help finance his early campaigns.

I just can’t get over how he wouldn’t stick it out with his first wife. Did he not take vows, “for better or worse?” . I’m sure I share the thoughts of those who probably felt that he quit on them. Not just Carol Shepp, BUT THE CHILDREN TOO. Couldn’t he have stayed around for them? Since only one of them was his biologically, I guess that made it easier for him to let go. It should also be noted that his children were so bitter that they didn’t forgive their father for several years

John McCain QUIT on the American people when he sought to assist the Keating Five. He was one of five senators called on personally by Charles Keating to save the failing Lincoln savings. He obliged and made more than one attempt to save Lincoln and Keating. He later belatedly repaid donations made to him from Lincoln and Keating. This scandal cost Americas tax payers almost 200 billion dollars. He was brought before senate ethics committee who later cleared him but rebuked him for “poor judgment”. Remember, three of the other senators had the careers cut short by this, but they let John McCain and John Glenn skate.

John McCain QUIT on the African American Community when he opposed the celebration of MLK birthday for seven years before admitting he was wrong.

GOP platform on abstinence and education
September 2, 2008

Here is the portion of the Republican platform that deals with abstinence and education:

"We renew our call for replacing 'family planning' programs for teens with increased funding for abstinence education, which teaches abstinence until marriage as the responsible and expected standard of behavior. Abstinence from sexual activity is the only protection that is 100% effective against out-of-wedlock pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV/AIDS when transmitted sexually.

"We oppose school-based clinics that provide referrals, counseling and related services for abortion and contraception. Schools should not ask children to answer offensive or intrusive personal nonacademic questionnaires without parental consent. It is not the role of the teacher or school administration to recommend or require the use of psychotropic medications that must be prescribed by a physician."

WOW....what a contradiction. That why is was a horrible idea for him to pick someone whom he'd only met once or twice. What other skeletons does she have?

I think people are underestimating this storm. Natchez appears to be a safe haven for some but to me Natchez looks right in the path. They don't really know the direction it will take when it hits land.

Well Hutto, before you COPY something maybe you should be smart enough to check the sources. If FACT is really your friend then you would do your OWN research before drawing a conclusion on a topic. Especially one as important as this. As a matter of fact, next time why don't you cite your sources so we can check for validity. Nobody trusts your opinion or "copied" facts. You say all your info is fact, then the statement "a little bit of Muslim is too much" is based on what FACT. That sounds like an opinion to me. That is the reason I responded to you. Not because of the other statements. But to make the Muslim comment points in a whole other direction. You know what I mean. Don't play dumb.

I could go on further but will stop right here. But please don’t sell me this highly unethical individual as my next leader. Hell no. If you don’t like what the democrats have, please look elsewhere than John McCain.
