This is great that you chose a local company. This will come in handy providing extra jobs for the unemployed people in the Natchez area. Thanks for helping the local people for a change.

Thanks to everyone involved in keeping the food pantry open for the less fortunate ones in our area. The elderly people desperately need this help. Anyone that is on a fixed income because they can't work any longer need all the help they can get. They only get a little money every month and very little food stamps and they really need this organization to stay open so they can at least eat some during the month. By the time they pay their electricity, water and gas bills they don't have anything left. THANKS VERY MUCH TO THE ISLE OF CAPRI for giving the donation to get this food pantry started back up.

This is some wonderful news for the people that are on fixed incomes. With the rising prices of gas, electricity and groceries this program is very much needed in this area. Thank-you both Catholic Charities and Isle of Capri for opening your hearts and souls to help the people in need.

IT sounds to me like the driver was trying to get out of the way and both vehicles went in the same direction. The other driver could be confused on what actually happened. I feel like he or she will come forward and tell his or her side of the story once they calm down.
I hope the officer is recovering well and that he wasn't hurt very badly. We all need to send prayers up for all parties that were involved in this very unfortunate accident.

I agree with veroniss about there being alot of people out there that are too lazy to work or that abuses the system. I draw disability and a few food stamps. But the amount they give in food stamps for people that are disabled will only buy enough groceries for two days. The elderly people don't even get that much so what are they suppose to eat if they close the food pantry.
Why does United Way of MS. have to sponsor the food bank in Vidalia and not Natchez? This doesn't make any since to me whenever MS. is taking care of LA. and not our own state.

This is a very sad time for the families that their children were involved in this tragic accident. Please try to be a little more compassionate with the families and the kids that were either injured or killed from kids being kids. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved in the tragic occurance.

What is wrong with Natchez. These people are trying to bring in a bigger establishment so that our young, middle-age and elderly people can have a place to go that doesn't include gambling and all anybody can do is complain.

I would like to thank each and everyone of you for the nice things you had to say about HERMAN NETTLES. This is my father and he is a great man. Growing up in his home was like a movie. He was always helping to rescue people out of the river. Some were lucky like these two men and others weren't so lucky.
I just hope someone is there whenever that mean old river tries to take my DAD like it did his.
