Hello Bulldog And Trojan fans, Lets get real about what happened on Friday night. I had one of the best seats in the house, and what I witnessed was a great performance by both teams. We have to remember that these kids, yeah kids, have worked all summer long going to camps, off season trainning, weight lifting, film watching, and ect. Friday was there first time to strap it on an see what they could bring to the field. They did that!!! In a scrimage the player are not the only ones on the field working out the rough spots. We have both coaches and officials fine tunning their preformances. I agree that there was alot of pushing and shoving after the plays where over. Thats where coaches and official come in to play. I feel that the coaches on both sides of the feild handled this minor situation well. If this was a regular season game this game would have continued without no problems. This scrimmage was an awesome experience for all the schools involved. Lets not highlight the only negative point of this event, caused by maybe 4 or 5 player, but praise the other 250 student atheletes, such as the bands, cheerleaders, drill teams, and players, for there overall preformances. THANKS NATCHEZ HIGH FOR OUR FIRST BIG RIVER CLASSIC!!!!
