however i do agree it does not give one the right to take a life. sometimes however you have to do what you have to save your own life.. we don't know the whole story.. it could be a clear case of self defense.. as in that was the only thing she could grab close enough to her while she was being beat!! then again she probably waited until he was distracted and stabbed him then.. we will never know. you as you may never know that saying ****leave**** and actually ****leaving**** is to completely different things...
