The store on Canal Street at one time brought in money but that must have stopped too. I have stopped donating anything there because of the employees taking home what they want of donated goods and selling them to keep the money for themselves. I will actually throw the goods in the trash before I take them to that store and let those workers steal them. I don't know for sure, but probably half of what is donated never gets to the selling floor.

and if you don't get what was on the list... in Name Brand form, or you hold out on some things (going to buy them next time or something) you childern come to you like 'mom help they are going to pick on me'

i have a couple of times.. i actually sat down in the center of the building and listened to the stories they had playing by just everyday people. well people that had things to say from waaay back in the day. it was soo moving! LOVED IT! this was 2 years ago during the balloon races.. i got plum mad at myself knowing how long this has been in ntz and i was just now takin a look inside! i want to watch the video they have...
maybe one day i'll get around to seeing the homes.. 27 yrs. and i have never stepped foot in one.

All of you obama fans should take notice of the past history.. You hate the Reps? If it had not been for them, you would not even be able to vote now. Reps, fought their hearts out to get you able to vote. The Dem party fought against it. The Black man had voting rights before women could vote. How's that for a feather in your cap.
You voted for obama, so own up to that fact. Own up to the fact that you were blind-sighted by his melodious speech and of course his color..You can be forgiven mistakes such as that, but don't push it too far. It is coming home to bite you real good.
