There are too many teachers for me to mention by name. But every time that I happen to meet one of them, I go up to them and reintroduce myself, and then I thank them for putting up with me all those years ago. Some of them are pleased, while others are very, very shocked that I have never been to prison, or even that I am still alive.

OGD is exactly right!! Plessy vs. Ferguson (1896) states that separate but equal is unconstitutional.

If a person served in the U. S. Army during WW II, they should be included on the same panel, not one that distinguishes the color of their skin, nor a mixture of the continent from which their ancestors originated with that of America.

What an excellent example.
Robert E. Lee was the last person to graduate from West Point Academy without a single demerit on his record.

I remember an incedent that happened in the old Walmart parking lot. I was standing on the sidewalk one afternoon when a car whizzed into a clearly marked handicapped parking space. A young girl who was no older than 18 got out and proceeded to prance to the door. Another car with an elderly lady came up and stopped right behind the car that had just sped up and parked. The elderly lady got out of her car, pulled a walker out of the back seat, and walked up to the front of the illegally parked car. The lady then walked up to the store to the pay phone, made a call, and went into the store. Within five minutes a police officer drove up. About that time, the young girl came prancing back out with a candy bar and coke in her hand. She did not look too happy when the officer finished writing the ticket, because the elderly lady had went into the store to shop, and came out after about thirty minutes. The young girl was stuck until the elderly lady moved her car. I was secretly cheering throughout the entire time.

Post the pictures of this scum, and make the reward "Dead" or Alive, and the case would be finished within a week.

Right now in the city of New Orleans, someone is probably selling pig wings and fur coats for hell, and I think it is safe to say that the police are staying indoors this week.

As long as it does not roll through my neighborhood at 500 deciBels and 10.2 on the Richter scale, or have lyrics that are not understandable except for the vulgarities, I enjoy listening to many different genres of music.

Mr. Mojo, I do not agree with many of your comments, but you are preaching righteously today. I have many friends of many races and national origins, and I consider many of them more intellegent and even more articulate than a lot of my white friends. But I distinguished them this way only to make the comparison; to me, they are ALL considered as friend, not my friend from a certain country, etc. And yes, my most important friend is indeed Jesus.

thinkforyourself, I read your comment above, and could think of nothing else but to compare it to the No Child Left Behind Law. It also places too much responsibility squarely on the teachers. It says nothing about the responsibility of the parent to raise their children to respect authority figures such as teachers or principals, nor does it prescribe any viable consequences for the students failure or inability to perform satisfactorily.

Downtown businesses should start seeing an increase in traffic flow soon. Many people are going to get tired of waiting to get through the new "continuously stopped" intersection and detour through town.

Maybe this has been the plan to revitalize downtown businesses all along!!
