The amount of domestic violence aganist women continues to escalate at an alarming rate and I am disgusted that people would refer to a T-shirt as a "wife beater."

Some people are just down right insenstive!

It's wrong to glorify this garment as such...

HELLO!

There are more important problems to solve.... the sagging pants issue is a slippery slope if there ever was one.
Trying to regulate a person right to expression...next it will be long hair, men with more than one earring, tattos, bra straps showing, hotpants. nipples showing in T-shirts, etc.
Please ignore these immature children faux pas and get on with the matters which are truly impacting taxpayers.

Gunther57,
I generally do not make a habit of responding to silly comments but in your case....you are incorrect.

Blood alcohol level (BAL) and Blood alcohol content (BAC)
are two interchangable acronomyns.

And at the risk of dignfying your comment with another silly comment.....those of us who are educated, do not, will not and vehemently avoid opportunities to boast one's level
of academia achievements...as it is not a sign of a well educated person.

To all others readers and bloggers....please forgive me this one time for responding to a person who is starving to correct people on a newspaper page which is meant primarily to solicit opinions from it's readers at any grade level.

Instead of bashing Mr. Owens reputation ask the appropriate question.

What is Mississippi state alcohol limit which determine DUI?

If his blood alcohol level (BAL) is in excess of the law, then his day in court is pending.

How much were the checks cashed for? You better not say
$100.00 otherwise I will find them an jack slap both of these clowns.
Too much time on their hands I guess. I guess the pair was watching re-runs of the Andy Griffith Show when they were inspired by the episode which aired about a couple of theives/counterfiters who came to the town of Mayberry and began printing worthless checks and using an unsuspecting Aunt Bee as a decor for a legitimate business front.

Maybe they got the idea from this episode!!!!!

Never think someone would commit a criminal act in Natchez's Walmart's parking lot...Natchez as my retirement home does not look so peaceful anymore. My hometown which I love love love is not my home anymore..it's so different.

I might as well stay in this jungle I am already in.

Review Natchez Democrat and other media past headlines readers; hence, domestic violence = some degree of tragedy.
