whysoserious, I'm sure Godbold would love to hear from you personally. If you've known him for 20 years, go see him face to face. Or you can hide behind your freedom of speech and just continue to be a coward.

Godbold has also committed to keeping the staff at the sheriff's office, and he doesn't bother anyone with letters in the mail, phone calls at home, or BS adds in the newpapers or on the radio. Vote Godbold.

Money well spent? How do you spend 100 thousand plus on a job that pays 80 thousand a year? Look at the money that has been spent, a lot was spent out of town. I don't listen to the radio anymore because of the exaggerated propaganda being broadcast by a candidate. I don't bother to look at the adds in the newspaper....same propaganda. If that wasn't enough, they even send the same crap in the mail. Who are they trying to impress? Enough is enough, you might buy the election but you can't buy respect. Oh yes, remember this election is only for a two year term. If he buys the election he will have to spend the same or more to keep it. Please people of Adams County, check out ALL the candidates before you sell YOUR sheriff's department to the highest bidder.

tiredoflosers, when you have money you don't need ethics.Sending your opponent's wife letters is just wrong on all counts. He did it twice, or let me rephrase that, he had it done. Yes Cliff , you are responsible for your campaign staff.

Thank you Highland Baptist Church for trying to do something good. I plan to be there. This is one thing this community needs. The weather should be nice, so get out and enjoy.

Ok thinkaboutit, Chief Mullins says he won't vote for Godbold because he doesn't want to lose him. Godbold is in charge of the investigation division at PD. Yes, he get's his name in the paper a lot. He has been in the paper numerous times before he announced he was running for sheriff. You just notice it more now that you think he has a secret agenda. He has a bunch of really good investigators working with him. There are a lot of good officers working at PD. As far as the unsolved murders in the city, I believe there is only one . Which is one too many. The police are working EVERY DAY to solve this case. Sometimes it takes a while to get to the truth, this isn't TV. you can't solve every crime in an hour or so.
