First I would like to say that I was raised in Brookfield on Horseshoe Drive in the late 60's through the late 80's. I could have never imagined anything like this going on back then. Of course times have changed and peoples lack of respect is more prevelant than ever. The sad thing is that so many people are so desperate in todays society that they do some horrible things. The other comment I want to make is, if Natchez is so horrible to some of you, why don't you MOVE? I have been gone for 21 years and don't plan on moving back. The one thing I do know is that it will always be home and I will always have wonderful memories, but, if I were that miserable that all I had to do was complain, I'd be gone!!!! Some of you need to consider that don't you think?

Rusty and Terry I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your child. I can't even begin to tell you how my heart hurts for you both and your entire family. I know you have had a difficult year and I'm sure your family is just crushed. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and my prayers as you go through this time in your life. I only wish I could be there to tell you all in person. GOD I pray that you would comfort this family at this time in their life and help them heal. Love you, Laureida

this is an awesome story full of wonderful memories for a wonderful man. i myself am very blessed to be able to know Dr. Killelea. the entire family is a great family to know. thanks for being the best dr. and for being the great person you are.

I just wanted to extend my heartfelt sympathy to your family. I had some great memories with Mr. C.P. and horror movies at your house. I always loved the way he joked and aggrevated the life out of us. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of loss.

I am an educator in TN that was educated in Natchez. First please let me say that there are still some awesome young people in out schools that deserve every opportunity available to them. I do agree about the SACS visits not being a surprise but planned with enough time for anyone to prepare for company. Most of us know if we are expecting special company that we do everything we can to clean house. I teach in the high school area and our enrollment is 900 students. I do agree also that every student is not college material and these students need to have other options available to them. I don't know what type of technical programs your schools offer, but, this could be one thing to look at. I teach cosmetology at our school and we also offer several other technical programs. As far as the educator, you will always have good ones that are there because they believe in your children and, some that are there for a paycheck and are just waiting for retirement. The sad thing there is that we have such a shortage in America for teachers all over. This makes it hard to just fire a teacher, as well as the educator associations that protect our jobs. Please don't lump all of the students into being the main problem because they only give respect when the person teaching earns it. Just remember as I said first, there are some awesome young people in the world today, we just have to find ways to reach them.

I just wanted to let you know that my family is so sorry to hear of Mr. Adrian's passing. We lived across the street on Horseshoe for years until moving to TN.
