I agree it is sad but if it was free why steal it! If they were too proud to ask for charity why would they be the type to steal?

Kevin, the next time I see 40 it will have a 1 before it. My years as 40 are beginning to be foggy. Enjoy it, because time starts flying & before you know it you will be an old man on a walker!!!!

You are so right my grandson's bike was stolen out of my front yard at 1:30 in the day. Luckily my neighbor saw them & between him chasing them & the police they found them within minutes. Of course by then they had panicked dropped the bike & was running. It was two little brothers, both under 11 years old. They looked very small & sad sitting in the back of a police car, but maybe it will teach them early.

Great job David. It sounds like you are a "horse whisperer." Animals sense the goodness in the person trying to help them & it seems Silverdo has sensed the kindness in you. Keep up the work there are many animals that could use your patients, and love.
One of the the saddest things is the look in any animals eyes when they feel insecure &
scared of human touch, It's people like you that make a difference.
Continue we need more people like you!!!!
Also let us us know when the ride in the lake happens. That will really be a milestone for both you & Silverdo
PLEASE don't stop with Silverdo you are hero to animals & I'm sure if they could talk they could they would say thank you. Of couse the look in his big brown eyes say "THANK YOU"

Buttrercup26, looks like you ate your Wheaties this monrning.
There're are new motels, casinos, resturants popping all up over Nat/Vid but, I give then a few years and they will do like everything else that is suppose to bring in the business. For one thing people can't afford to travel anymore. Our days are basically gone like we once knew it.
I think it's time for the cities to build grarded safe walkways because that would come in much handier more than a new Covention Center.
I tell my granddids how much $1.00 would buy when I was growning up & they can't beleive it. Heck even my grorwn children have doubts.
On Do you think the new convention center hotel will draw more conventions to Natchez?

It explains why there was abrupt silence.

A zoo in the Vid/Nat area would be great! It not only provides hours of entertainment but it teaches young children & some adults about animals that would probably never see unless they go to larger cites. It would make a great class field trip for churches and school. Everyone even the ones that are too proud to admit it love animlas. So why not a zoo in our area?
