Southwest may stll be busy with Gustav damage. For
many years their power has gone off at "the drip of
a drop", so to speak. I'm sure they do the best they
can, but they are a small outfit. Right, they don't
return phone calls. I was surprised to learn they
serve over 5000 customers with so few workers. I hope
all of you have made out well with this latest storm.

These cowardly people have brought shame upon the
state of Mississippi and their county. After observing Seale during his trial, and the degree of
hate he clearly exibited, I would think we haven't
heard the last of him.

SAMMOHAN
By the grace of God I am as well off as you. I went to school, listened well and worked hard. I've lived
in hurricane country for 50 plus years. God has blessed me to the extent that I've NEVER accepted one
free hand out. NEVER suffered a loss of any kind. God is a good God. Unfortunately, not everyone is as
blessed as the two of us. There are really poor people amongst us and I'm thankful I can feel their
pain. Glad to see my tax money at work helping them.
On the other hand, I also see the greedy people abusing the system, people that could help themselves
and I feel as much resentment as any of you. But for
the grace of God, I could be one of them. I thank God
for my blessings and pray for the others. Natchez is
my home, and I know Mississippi has needy people. These folks deserve Federal assistance, and for the
others, there is nothing either of us can do. Unless
you have worked a hurricane, you can't imagine what it is like, and I hope none of you ever know.

If you know Mr. Seale and his cohorts,
or followed his trial, you will remember
many of them were involved in the church. Their words, not mine.
My opinion?
None of these people were born with a conscious.

You can call your Dept. of Social Services for info.
The people in Ms. should be asking why they aren't
getting assistance. Apparently their governor has
failed them. I would like to see this addressed as
this is Federal aid and I saw a lot of the damage
in and around Adams county.

This is a nice story---and New York is a great place
to visit.

Could we wait for some facts?

With his criminal record---what does it matter how
he was stopped. As for drivers in town slowing for stop signs, rather than stopping, SAY IT ISN'T TRUE.

He's done nothing to you or for you???????
This is so very sad.

You must realize there is absolutely no substitute for experience. I take nothing away from Senator
Obama, he's just ahead of his time, and I find it
difficult to understand how we are to take him seriously. I've been around to see many presidents
come and go. You need to put aside your personal
preference, consider the needs of our country and
cast your vote accordingly. This decision should be
made after much prayer.
