If they had held it after work hours, I would have been there. I'm sure that's what kept lots more from coming. The boats were there into the night. Why was it held so early?

say31, did it ever occur to you that many of us ARE over the race thing and are tired of it being thrown in our face every time we turn around? Just like you telling me that people need to get over it. I had many reasons to vote against Obama and race never entered into it.

There were plenty of reasons to vote against him without considering race. Now lets see what a Democrat president and a Democrat congress can get done. When it goes to hell in a handbasket, then who will they blame?

If he were truly worried about racism in America, then he would drop the "African" from African-American and just be an American.
