If this teenager was man enough to kill, then he should be treated as a man when he is tried. Also, if they stood together to committ such a terrible act, then their a---- should fall together. My stance on it is to charge the others also. It sickens me to think of them surrounding a helpless old man who was minding his own business.
I hope the Justice system does not fail us on this one!

Ms. Eloise lived for the Lord until her demise. May she rest in peace. My prayers go out to you Pinkey and your family. You have been a wonderful, loving daughter to your mom.

Let's hope that justice is done and these criminals do not get to court and the system treat them as though they are victims- Mr. Felton was definitely the victim (left alone to die).

This was a christian lady who lived for God until her demise. You will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to the family.

It's really sad to think that you can kill a person and possibly get away with it. Yes, this was a child, but one who acted in a corrupt and violent way when things did not go the way he anticipated they should.
I am not the judge nor jury, but I would remember that he wan't too insane to pick up a knife and lunge it into another living, breathing human being...further, he wasn't too insane to yell out his profanity. (But will justice be done-we all know the answer to that!

I don't know this gentleman personally, but I can say that he is more than a hero. Words can not express the degree of gratitude that these people should have shown this man. Thank you for being a bigger person than the guardian of this child. Even though they didn't say thank you, you have a reward coming from God. THANK YOU FOR BEING A REAL MAN!!!! Your heroic efforts are to be commended (perhaps by the City of Natchez).

First, I would like to say how I mourn for the family of Steve McNair and especially his mother, wife and children. Despite the circumstances surrounding his death he married Michele and she is his wife and with that union I know there was also true love. Also, unquestionably Steve McNair's accomplishments helped to build the name of AlcornState University in a positive image. He showed the world what a young man from the small town of Mount Olive Mississippi could do when a person's mind is made up. McNair went from a small Delta town to a high profile celebrity, but most importantly he embraced his roots with pride. I'll always have the utmost respect for Steve and nothing that the media or any other source says will alter my opinion of STEVE MCNAIR!

First of all I would like to say I love you Cassandra and that you are going to be missed; however, I know who is smiling as the gates swing open and that's Aunt Margaret. You were such a beautiful person and I was proud having you for my cousin. Your warmth was generated everytime you smiled and you enjoyed life to the fullest. Clearly, your appreciation of all God had done for you was evident in the things you said and how you lived your life. You understood the significance of a strong family bond, so don't worry about your children because your values will be instilled in them forever. I'm not saying goodbye to you because I know that I will see you again. Rest is what God knew you needed and rest is what He chose to give you. We just have to remember that He knows our fate and loves us harder than we love ourselves. We LOVE you Cassandra (always).

I personally know this family and I have spoken with Ms. Hueing. She is devastated, and grateful for God being a merciful God. My thanks to those of you who are not playing God and judging this lady, because she is a hard working woman and perhaps some of you who have everything could benefit from her courage and preserverance during struggles. God embraced the children and provided a suit of armor for them. I have offered to help Ms. Hueing in whatever capacity that I can and maybe that's what others need to do. What are you willing to do besides sit on your buttocks and talk? Remember talk is CHEAP!

Although some of the staff at ASU have never had the experience of teaching in a classroom setting prior to teaching at Alcorn, I believe they have grown by their present continuous teaching experience. This is about opportunity, not condemnation of the school, professors, or students. Remember that a person's greatest worth lies within them; therefore, regardless of who or where the delivery of instruction occurs, achievement lies with the student's desire to fulfill personal expectations.
