Why would anyone trust the West family to handle burying even their pets? What changes will they make to try to prove that they could handle the responsibilities of the business so it would not be a "repeat" performance?
I sure hope that Marshall Funeral Home continues to give great service to people and not become a "major disappointment" as the West Funeral Home has become. It is sad, just plain sad, but I will not give them my business.

I don't know if they should of should not, but I do think that if they do it for one person/company, then they should do it for all.

I'm not surprised at all. I have been disappointed at the way they have conducted business for years. West did my brother's funeral and was in charge of the tombstone. They put the wrong date and never corrected it. Recently, we could not find my sister's grave- there were just mounds of dirt, markers with no names on them, and so on. It is sad for so many reasons. Their dad did not conduct business that way! Sad, sad, sad! What is going to happen to the families who have policies with them?
Hopefully,someone will get it and do better.

"Where was God?" God created us with the ability to make choices and that (for lack of a better word) man made the choice to abuse, misused, and raped that child. I think it was Corrie tem Boon's sister that said " Just because a mouse is in a cookie jar, doesn't mean he is a cookie." And just because someone wears the label pastor or reverend, doesn't mean he is of God or does godly things.
One sad thing is, he'll probably get less time than the person who killed that dog. Hopefully her parents will get her the help she'll need and will do whatever to see that as much of justice as possible be served.
To the young lady, I am so sorry that someone, especially a person that you trusted, did such a horrible thing to you. If you need to talk to someone please get in touch with the rape crisis center through Catholic Charities. They do have some resources that could be beneficial to you. God does love you and He in no way caused this or willed this to happen to you. There is an enemy, satan. I pray that you will sense God's presence and strength, and have hope as you travel this road that "that less than a man" has now caused you to have to walk . Will keep you in my prayers.

Yeah that's true. But it seems like we are going to pay for it in the long run, so I rather donate by choice. I figure we are going to pay much more because we will have to pay a committee to figure out how much increase on taxes we'll need. Let just eliminate the middle man.

How many working people do you think there are in our city? I think that if all of us and especially the businesses here would donate some money we could probably pay a great portion (if not all) of the balance. I personally hate paying interest on things, plus I do use some of those streets.

Too too cute. Great story. Great kids, and that picture is so beautiful. The expressions on the boys' faces are absolutely so adorable. Thanks. A great way to start the week with such a precious story. I hope these young fellows will remember this time when they are older and may the bond that they all have with each other spur each of them to greatness. God bless you boys.
