Just out of curiosity do people in Natchez ice skate? Sounds like a fun idea but kinda peculiar at the same time.
Maybe this could finally get the travel channel here.

Can we see some numbers on this? It would be nice to know an exact number of guests and also an estimate of their expenditures here.
Linden, The Burn, and The Elms were involved in this program and they have had a dismal response.
Do people just toot their own horns to keep their jobs or are they just entirely too self-important?
This is bull, plain and simple!

It would be a whole lot better to get some coverage on the TRAVEL CHANNEL rather than waisting money on a bad advertising scheme and then trying to justify it by lying in the newspaper!

joeblow2 ??? We have been on a downward trend since the Democraps took office in the 06 elections. I love hearing how Bush and the Republicans did all this. When the Democraps have total power and voting majorities how can you be blind enough to think Republicans had anything to do with stopping your socialist public option plan. It might surprize you to find out the payoffs the Democraps are getting from big pharma and the insurance companies for giving them so many new clients, 30 million forced into this travesty. The supreme court will kill this bill because it is unconstitutional. This health care cannot stand!
Obama is a dangerous liar. He is the Manchurian candidate!

Is this a joke? They fined the good Dr. a relatively small amount but nothing substantive happened. Where is something from the judge demanding the properly be secured and maintained according to city standards? This is a strange result after all the complaints and trouble Mr. Dawes went to to have Dr. Vaughn served. Is the court satisfied with letting Arlington go away?
I don't understand this!
It sounds like if he cuts the grass and gets rid of the old car then everything will stay the same. What a poor outcome after so much anticipation.

If laying people off is what is necessary to keep the state afloat and not raise our taxes anymore then so be it.

According to the Democrats, Obama the savior, will soon part the sea and solve all our problems. In otherwords it should be temporary and no one should have any reason to worry. Yeah Right!

The colonnade needs a lot more than paint. It is falling apart and much of the wood is rotting. If it doesn't get help in the near future it will cost a great deal to put it back together.
I don't get the gazebo on the bluff needing a paint job. It was painted a year ago. If it needs painting agains maybe try getting some quality paint so expensive labor isn't wasted.

This is a shame! It would have been nice if the Grand Soleil could have put their loans together and opened the casino. It would have been nice to get some competition for the Isle of Crapi. A nice gambling site would have helped tourism. People (tourists) go to the Isle and see what a dump it is and that all of the "customers" are playing penny slots and waiting for another drink. It's low budget and not a great benefit to Natchez!
