Sounds like somebody got a good buy on the Prentiss Club and Guesthouse.

Sounds like the folks in this neighborhood will be responsible to solve their problem. If they've never paid money to the city or county for their sewage maintenance it sounds like they own their own system. They can't expect the city or county to pay for it or the guy that owns land in the area. BUYER BEWARE

The opening bids are too high! Why not do this like ebay and start really low and as people bid let them know if they've hit the minimum to buy the item. It would certainly get more people involved. This is going to end being a bust for the ND and those people that made their items available.
It's not a bad idea but needs tweeking.

Too bad that boat couldn't be turned into a hotel and docked under the hill. Natchez probably doesn't need more hotel rooms but it would make a unique place to stay.

Can the ND find out who dropped the ball this time. If the city needs to lay off people due to budget issues it seems whoever failed on this one should be next to go!

The current mayor, which I voted for, is a do nothing local celebrity. You speak to the man and get no results.
Similar to the situation with the ND. Local news media is responsible for pointing out problems with local government and when they can't they become complicit.
I'm so glad a new radical idea came to you. My radical idea is reporting on government failures and then asking for results!

HEY Y'ALL LET'S HIRE MORE DEMOCRATS AND SEE IF WE CAN PUSH THAT NMBER UP TO 20%!!!
WE'RE ALL GONNA GET HANDOUTS FROM THE GOVERNMENT NOW WITH HEALTH CARE SO WHY SHOULD WE CARE?
LET'S ALL JUST LAY BACK ON OUR OVERSIZED BACKSIDES AND TAKE IN FOOD STAMPS, MONEY, AND HEALTH INSURANCE.
THE BIG QUESTION HERE IS WHO IS GOING TO WORK TO PAY FOR THESE LAZY P.O.S'S TO SIT BACK AND TAKE MORE FROM THOSE OF US WHO ACTUALLY WORK AND DON'T CRY FOR MORE F'..N HANDOUTS?
JUST A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS I'D LIKE ANSWERS TO.

It's great that Natchez has two hard workers here like Regina C. and Ginger H. If not for the hard work of these two ladies we would have our usual quiet Christmas.
Christmas was always and is still my favorite holiday.
Just the idea of getting together with friends and families made it such a great holiday. The residents of Natchez should come together this holiday and be a big happy family. The spirit of goodwill should last year round.

Great Job! Congratulations to all involved! I'm so glad to know a lot of money was raised to help out the fantastic cemetery.
I bought 2 copies of Don Estes' new book and it looks great! Haven't had a chance to read it all but great job on a book that has been lacking from my personal Natchez library!
