I think the media will always blow out of proportion some "klan" activities such as this,because it helps perpetuate the stereotype of the ignorant southerner.Also with Obamas election I think this episode allows the media to dismiss McCains carrying of the south as if it does'nt matter because it still has random acts of racist themed violence.

does anyone know who owns the building on Homochitto with the hole in it? (Across from the church and Jeff County Health Care) That has got to be the worst building in Natchez.

Sam,I could'nt agree more with you. There are more LSU stickers,flags,etc on cars around here yet you never see an alumni sticker. Who the hell graduated from there?

Good job Carrie, but she had some huge shoes to fill in the ones left by Tammi Gardner the previous and initial director.She got downtown reinvigorated with fresh ideas and a dont say die attitude. Two girls from out of town who kick started Natchez downtown and trying to keeping alive.

If your kids are that important which I know they are then you need to move into the district and state in which they will be attending school. For those of you who are directly affected by this, kids in the Natchez public schools you need to be the first in line at PTA meetings, board meetings etc.,and for those of us Natchez tax payors we should be behind them instead of watching our tax dollars be pissed away yearly by an unqualified board of directors

Seems you have a great town, I think what sets most people off on this site however is the sarcastic way you belittle Natchez and its people,for whatever reason.I would love to ask your husband about the surgeons who do chop from 9-30-08 post 10:09am post. Whats his name?
