Ths was a fair article. We (Alcorn) brought this on ourselves. Even if Jones did do something worng, its not being handled properly and thats Alcorn's fault. His name is Robert Raines.

Godsend, please tell me what talent we had on the field. WRs couldn't catch and were slow. DBs couldn't cover and were slow. We had 4 new starters on the OL and the DL was small. I know talent when I see it and Alcorn didn't have much.

I agree we should use both, Pilcher started off the season getting all the carries. Then Brumfield got all the carries and Pilcher got limited carries. Brumfield got hurt then Pilcher started getting all the carries so I agree they if Brumfield is healthy we should use both maybe 50/50 or 60/40. Brumfield seem to be taking better care of the football of late and that's a good sign. To me our talant level just low, no team speed our recievers are slow and they can't catch. Edward Johnson is out most reaible WR but he's slow. Offensive Line is really young and DL is really small. DBs are suspect also. I've seen these coaches recruit and I believe they will get some players in the next few years, I sure do hope they do. This still is on JT cause he didn't recruit well.

I like Brumfield too, I've seen every game and Brumfield was the main RB from the Pine Bluff game to the Alabama A&M game(5 games). He got hurt in the A&M game and that's why Pilcher started getting more carries. Brumfield has fumbled almost every game. Pilcher avg 5 yards per carry and Brumfield avg 3.4 per carry, you do the math. Hobson had 2 good games in his whole carreer, Tsu and Southern his freshemn year, downhill after that. I wish Hobson could play better but the facts are he hasn't panned out and Chris Walker was a better QB then him. If he was the better QB, I'm sure he would be playing.

I disagree about Hobson, he doesn't seem to have heart to play, Hobson wasn't an All-Sate player either. Pilcher is going a good job of running and yards per carry is better than Brumfield's. I like Brumfield though if he can get over his fumbling problem.
