3 on 23. I can almost bet they are just dialing numbers. I don't usually answer any personal questions like this from callers and I just hang up. The bank already has your info so why would they call you for it? It's sad that people don't have anything better to do but to figure out a way to scam other hardworking people. And skippy I thought what you did was so funny. I would have never thought to do this myself but i'm glad you did. Give them something to work hard on. I bet they thought they nailed another person's info when actually they didn't!!! Too funny!!

na1015 I couldn't agree with your comment more!! I say he should remain in jail until after his trial has ended!! It's obvious he has not regard for human life!! Any man that harms kids shouldn't be allowed to see the light of day. If the justice system was working as it should then he would've been still locked up where he couldn't hurt anyone else.

I have to say that this is a brave thing that these parents are doing. I think it's great that they are doing something like this with these kids. They are being taken on an adventure that most people well in age haven't ever taken in life. They are going to have something to look back on and be proud of. They are learning the values of what it is be to family and to stick together. I thought about a few problems when I thought of the idea of them taking these kids on a bike ride this long especially traveling during winter months but then I think of all the good that this story has. It's easy for people to say that these people want free handouts and they want this publicity but I would rather people get free things and a little media attention this way than to go out and murder several people and get in the news. You people need to get a grip especially the ones that are talking about calling child protective services on these nice people who probably care for these kids way better than you care for yours. You don't know the full extend of what this family is doing, you only know what the ND has chosen to tell you. Where they get their money from is of no concern to anyone. If they have the money to make this trip and are making sure that the kids stay fed like they should be and are properly clothed then I say ride on!! This took a lot of nerve, courage and I can't even imagine the amount of planning it took!! Stop criticizing and start giving credit where credit is deserved!!

I agree with samm. If the family is okay with the settlement then I say we should just let it rest. There's no amount of money that's going to change what has already happened. If he did indeed do something to harm her then when his judgement day comes, he'll have to answer to the most highest and he will pay for what he has done one way or the other. He will have the money but it won't last or he won't be able to enjoy it like it planned on. That money will be cursed and everyone who spends it will be as well so I hope for his sake he didn't do anything to harm his wife.

Actually this sounds like a career criminal. I also want to commend the VPD for a job well done. One less criminal on the streets and someone's missing items are going to be returned.

I just can't understand how they keep giving these people a few years in jail for intentionally taking the life of another person. This is why the crime rate in our area is continuing to rise. The murderers are getting off too easy. They give more time for drug charges than they do for a killing. So sad!!!

Excuse me llena304 and Greenfields but you are sadly mistaken. I think we played a really good game of ball and unfortunately, yes the team did have to play against the refs and the team. It was amazing how that one ref saw all those penalties on the Trojans but missed a bunch of the same penalties that the Vikings made. I saw several times where they showed unsportsman-like conduct after they got behind. I only remember about 1 or 2 penalties being called against them. Each time the Vikings reached a 3rd down it was amazing how the ref found a penalty that would give them just enough yards for another 1st down. Ferriday never had that liberty. We had to play hard for every yard we made. I'm sorry that a young man ended up getting hurt and I do pray that he is much better and able to get back into the next game but unfortunately that's part of the game. It was not dirty ball playing that made that happen to him, he was hurt to begin with and didn't say anything about it which made a bad situation worse. I think that both bands were pretty good but I want to add that the Vidalia Band or shall I say the drummajor, who is supposed to be the leader and set an example for the band, was very rude and disrespectful. He was starting making bad jestures and doing things while the band was passing. The other members of the band just stood there but he didn't. He was a long-time member of the Trojans and now because he has moved he feels the need to do these type things. Not only that but a lot of the things that the drum section played were things that our band played while he was here. Needless to say I felt like I was in the middle of another Bring It On movie since they used just about all of our caters and a lot of our stadium music. Way to go Tre!! Let's see how well you can keep up because we're coming better and stronger!!

I'm wondering if any of these thieves were the ones that broke into my house and stole my things. I haven't heard a word on the investigation yet and i've called the CPSO a few times to speak with someone about it.

Well dissident you can keep your thoughts to yourself. We are all human and we all work just as hard as the certified personnel. If it weren't for the people that are non-certified the certified people couldn't do their jobs on a day to day basis. Think about the bus drivers, the cooks, the bookkeepers, the cleaners, etc. The teachers can't do all these jobs by themselves and still teach a productive lesson. You can't just look down on a person because they don't have a certificate. Not only that but it's a BONUS check so it has nothing to really do with certification. I think that everyone should get an equal amount if you ask me but I do understand why they do give the teachers a little more than everybody else. Sometimes I hate to read the comments on here because it's people like this that want to make a good situation a bad one.
