The mental health issues involve Tom Vaughn, and he may be found incapable of making a decision about the property. In any case, I would like to see it saved, but find it unlikely.

Just because your friends jump off the bridge is no reason for you to do it - right? So why is it right for teenage girls to act like they are in a porn movie just because "everyone" on tv, etc. is doing it? WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, they need to be taught what pride really is all about, and allowing this kind of dancing is just increasing the problems they have now. I said last year I would not attend another Christmas parade, and I still hold to that.

I think only the Vidalia side of the bridges should be included since they are footing the majority of the bill and all the power.

The Prentiss Club was the old Masonic Temple. While the Masons are strictly for men, the female version was the Eastern Star, and the teenagers were Demolay for the boys and Rainbow Girls. I don't think it was a "club" for drinking or carousing until it was sold and became the cellar. The Guest House was, I believe, the Lions Club building and I remember it had a pool in the back, don't know if it is still there.
