Natchez has a lot if you are willing to look. There are lots of speciality shops downtown that have some neat items that you can't find other places.

So yeahwhatever, fundamentally you are calling everyone who has seen one on the trace recently a liar? The cats are here. And I seriously doubt many people have ever had a big cat as a pet. Where did you get your degree in wildlife?

Circuit City has filed for Chapter 11 bankrupcy as of last week. And I would also like to know why other costs are going up?

I totally agree say, the one I know of is in Memphis and the hotel stays full but Natchez is a different story altogether.

I have seen restaurants like that sayitloud. You have to present your room key before you can get seated. Also the swimming pool, lounges, etc are only for those staying at the hotel.

For once I agree with Morris. I believe the kids should earn as much as possible by themselves. Just giving them the money just reinforces the "hand out" mentality. They need to learn that anything worth having is worth working for.

There are a lot of people in the area with livestock, and I am seriously afraid if he goes after calves or colts he will be shot. The season for calving is just around the corner in Dec. / Jan. and I have a mare due in Jan. When the deer pickings get slim, he may want something more tender.

Many years ago when we had young kids and very little money, I let my kids save the stamps from the grocery stores (remember those?) and in Dec. they could go to the stamp stores to get presents for others with them. Too bad we can't do that anymore!
Did my early shopping on line so I could get the gifts for grandson and take them to Texas next week since they won't be coming here for Christmas. The rest of my shopping I'll do in Natchez a little at a time and enjoy it.
