For the record, speakdatruth, ANYONE can post an opinion, whether they live in Wilkinson Co. or not...freedom of speech, remember? Secondly, your comment about "everybody needs to wake up and stop being so hateful" is quite contradictory, since in your first sentence you pointed directly at the WHITE democratic group. Your words are indicative of someone who has a decisive spirit....which does not bring us together. I am an African-American citizen who used to live in Wilkinson County and know there are several African-American Knuckle-heads who should never have been chosen for any public job in Woodville. Some of their actions have been an embarrassment to me and I look forward to the powers that be to find them and prosecute them. I can't speak about the white groups, because I don't know them...all I can speak on is the ones I know...but saying the White group is messing everything up must certainly be an overexaggeration.

If I'm still here, I will most definately be going. I "love" going to casino's, I'm not AT ALL ashamed to admit it, I can afford to go - - and, yes, I go and play with my Not-so-Hard earned money....( everyone does not work hard for their money). I enjoy working and I enjoy playing....that's life.
Poor Natchez Miss. does not have a lot of entertainment arenas for adults and I think it will be just great!
Casino's are just a form of entertainment for those who care to partake. If you don't like it, just as some say above, just don't go. But, spare us the casino-bashing. It sounds immature. Because as we all know, each and every one of us do "something" a little too much, be it drinking, eating, posting, talking, smoking, whatever....the trick is not to over indulge....so everyone get a grip and don't be so critical...man !
So, everyone who enjoys gaming, I think this new one will be a welcome addition for us. Certainly, will put a frown on the Isle, since they've had the monopoly for so long. I bet they'll loosen up their slot some when the new boat comes :- }

oh,I remember thetruthhurts.....I remember well. I am a baby-boomer, graduated H.S. in 1974. We lived in Michigan and in the summertime, we'd leave the front door wide open, leave the screen door unlocked, windows up, just to catch that cool breeze at night. When we went to the store or to the "filling" station, we never, ever locked our car doors. Kids could stay up late and comfortably play down the street, without causing our parents alarm. We didn't worry or think about a "Chester-the-Molester". Back then, there were "good, honest people"....my, how times have changed!! Yes, ma'am.....I remember and also long for....those good ole days !

I am thankful for a health family, I am thankful that God has allowed my sister to receive a blessing of healing for her condition, and I am thankful for everyday that the Lord allows me to wake up and begin another day.

In a nutshell, it was wrong to hang a noose...and it was wrong for six kids to jump on one...but
I present this to you...Do you think we would have all this "commotion" if it were six blacks jumping on another black kid in the school yard ? Do you think the DA would have anyone sitting in jail for "attempted murder" ?? No, of course, not. So, draw your own conclusions. Yes, Jena has a few "issues"....
