I think this is a wonderful thing for the kids who would"nt have anything,unless,they have family members to help out.I know when I was young,the only way we had the clothes,on our backs my mother use to tell me,was from other people & kin people.Since I was the baby of the family,I always got them after my sister!! lol! But they were new to me at the time.I love helping others,who either are down on their luck,or their spouse has left them,or gamble it all away,I understand all to well right now,because we are up on hard times,and my son moved back home with his 4 yr.old little boy,who was denied his everyday clothes and his school uniforms for pre-k.So with the grace of God,I had other family members to help buy a shirt or a pair of pants here and there,and I was going to the salvation Army surplus store,and check to see what they might have,but one of the kids in his room at school,his mom cleaned out her little boys closet,he had outgrown a lot of things,so she brought more clothes to the school,and the teacher tried to see if they would fit several of the children,but anyway he came home with a backpack full of good everyday long sleeve shirts,pants,jackets,She was the answer to my prayer! Its sad when his real mama won"t send him to pre-k,because,she was to lazy to get him up! Well,we have him right now,he"s smart in school & really loves it! But there is"nt anything wrong,to ask for help.
But I do the same thing,feel bad,but everyone hits a rough patch in their way sometimes.

Ha! Do you honestly think that Glenn could ever be bullied,into anything? He"s his own man! Randy Maxwell just wants people to think he"s such a hot shot sheriff,well I"m here to tell you,he"s not!!! He"s no better than anyone else of us that live in concordia parish,or other places.but he knew what was going down the day of election,everyone knew it,just like the last time,he plays dirty!!! He"s just afraid to get beaten,and he did both times,
Glenn would have went in 4 years ago,but dirty politics!!!,And here we are once again,4 years later,and him and his goons,did the same thing to keep him,they would snoop so low,just because he wants to be the sheriff !!! The right man,is still here for the job,and it sure is"nt Randy Maxwell,!!!!! Go Glenn,don"t let him get away with his crooked self,!!!!! Thats all he is!!!

Way to tell them Jennifer!!!!! We are still behind Glenn,no matter what the outcome is.He"s the man who should be in there,not Randy Maxwell!!!!!!!!
I don"t see how people can just sit back,and not notice,things around them,happening,Randy Maxwell,is"nt all he"s cracked up to be! He"s been in there to long,and has just taken advantage of the word sheriff,to give himself the right to do anything,he desires with whom and whatever he wants,with all of our hard earn money,his family seems to be doing pretty darn good if you ask me,on a sheriff salary.

Its not only Natchez,Its Vidalia,also,But Vidalia,does seem to be filling up theirs faster,than Natchez.But everytime you look around there is another one coming up in Natchez.
But you know,what is happening,don"t you? They are getting ready,for the new boat business,to help,and especially those lending money places.I know for a fact,my son put his truck title up,because he needed cash bad,but it cost him a lot more than he borrow! Thats what those type of business come in here for.But if people need to use them,I guess its ok for them.But not for me,at least I hope not!
I was from Natchez,
I know it gives people jobs,but like you said,they don"t stay that long in business,the other little malls around town,sitting empty.

Well at least Vidalia"s mayor has done some things for the town,Ferriday keeps going backwards instead of fowards! If we don"t get Gene Allen out,Ferriday is just a sinking ship!!! Just sit back and wait!! Anyone can do better than him! He would rather lie also,about what he has done for the town,but do any of you see it!!!!!!! ? He"s too busy in Natchez,on the casino,and with his so call girlfriends!! Yes we know Mr. Mayor,you have your cake and eat it also!! I feel sorry for your wife!! But I"m sure she knows you by now,and she"s probally with you,just so she can say,Hey! I"m the mayor of Ferridays wife!!!! big deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We need a change,and I mean in a big way!!!
We need a new sheriff,and we need a new mayor in Ferriday! Just clean house!!!!!!!!
Now I would"nt be surprised if they take this off,but hey its all the truth! And its not only the white people fed up with him,there are more black I think thats ready for him to step down.Let it Go Gene!!!!!!!! & Let it go Randy Maxwell.Go Fishing,or whatever you people do,don"t you think its way pass your vacations!!! lol!

Well I live out of the city limits,but the best one for the job once again will be Glenn McGlothin,He did a great job while he was in so long,Glenn just wants to see Ferriday grow,and get along with each other like they use to.No town is perfect! But Ferriday has really went to the dogs!! since Gene Allen has been mayor! And we all know that there was voter fraud during that last election,with Mr. Allen.I think all of you living in the city can"t wait until you get Gene out as your mayor!! Why do you think new business,are"nt really interested in coming here,Its our sorry law we have here! Every week,you will see loads and loads of tickets written,He has really made Ferriday the laughing stock all over the place! Just mention Ferriday,La.They don"t want to even come through here,not less come live here!,or shop! Oh! by the way where is there to shop around here,there are"nt many places anymore to go to,So we do need a new leader,who knows what he is doing!!!!!! not just in for how many tickets can we get today? Heck we have to write,that many,or no paycheck!!!! Just the truth,from a concerned citizen,
Glenn is the man for the job!!!!! Go Glenn we"re all pulling from you,even though we can"t vote because we"re in the country!!!!! But look at the vote mixup,with Maxwell,and Lipsey,So people better keep a close eye on Allen,or we will be seeing another court date.

WAY TO GO JERRY!!!!!! I "M JUST GLAD CATHY DARDEN IS"NT IT ANYMORE!!! SHE NEVER DID ANYTHING!!! SHE WAS A LAUGH TO OUR PARISH,JUST THERE TO GET HER LITTLE PAYCHECK!!!!! WE WISH YOU ALL THE BEST IN THE WORLD JERRY!!!!!! MAKE US PROUD!!!!

If you think about it,where does that leave those who in Mississippi,and Louisiana,who voted in both places? Mississippi,ought to check in on theirs now also,Whoever heard of voting in 2 different states,surely not me!!!!!!
I"m hoping that there won"t be another relection,I just want Glenn to just step in and take his rightfully place,because Mr. Crooked RM,just needs to step down,anyone who goes to these lenghts,to win,does"nt need to be in any kind of politics,I guess he"s seeing now who his true blue friends are,if they"re still following him,well it"ll be like the blind leading the blind!!!! Glenn we are pulling for you!!!! You"re the best man for Concordia parish,now RM has had enough time in there to line his pockets,he sure won"t be hurting anytimes soon!! And the one"s who voted for Rm,I hope you now see your so-call sheriff,is not above the law to pull off crooked things to secure him winning once again!!But he was"nt expecting such a great turn out,and they were all for Glenn,so he did the only thing he knew to do,to win,to buy votes,tell his employees,how to vote,and what would happen to them if they did"nt vote for him!! Man!!!! I thought this was 2007,not the late 1800"s or the 1900"s,I can"t wait until tomorrow ( Monday)Maybe we can all breathe a little easier.

Glenn is the man we need for our parish!!! The truth will come out real soon,I hope RM is sweating it out!!! How about putting him in his own jail,!!!!!!!!! That would really be sweet revenge!!!!! We do not need a new election,just kick RM to the curb!!!! Glenn should be the one in their anyway,He should have been in there 4 years ago,because crooked RM PULLED THE SAME MESS THEN!!!!!!

Well I myself feel like the parents need to be behind their children also,but you do have these parents,who wanted children,but did"nt stop to realize they grow up,and have to and need to go to school.Because I know of one parent right now,its not me,mine is grown now,thank goodness for that!! And I thought I was through doing homework,class partys,everything that goes with being in school,My son has moved back home,with his 4 yr.old little boy,who is in pre-k,and he is so smart!! proud granny!!! Well his mother would"nt send him to school,and instead of helping him with his homework,she just told him to scribble on the paper!!! They are outlining their letters and numbers.She kept him up,to 12:00a.m. to as much as 2:00a.m.Well her and my son split,so granny is doing all the taking care of his needs now,but I do get the reward in the end,He saids granny I want a hug! granny let me kiss you!! granny I love you! granny thank you,for caring!!! If that does"nt tug at your heart then you have no heart,but at 50,I get to do this all over once again.I just had the one son,so this is his little boy,at least he knew to get him out of the mess his mama was into.No child should hear words,or see things like this 4 yr old has,but he"s so polite now,its yes mam,no mam,please,thank you.I"m kinda proud of myself,that I get a second try at it,because with me being a mother for the first time,with my son,I know more now,how to deal and cope with the tandrums!! lol! So yes parents need to be more involved instead of using schools like its daycare,just getting them,out of their hair for a few hours,but they need to be paying attention to their child.
