Duckhunter, not sure what your comment means...but, check out Acorn and the SEIU and you will understand my comment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no problem when registering voters is legal...........do some research on these organizations.......

On Is voter ID a good idea?

This is the same old problem of people not wanting to be responsible for themselves....make everything easy so no effort is required of individuals. So, pull out the race card and everyone cringes. Acorn and SEIU are thugs going around the country registering people and this is the VERY reason we should have voter ID. And now these very people are going to run the census...Wake up people...pay attention to what is going on with the current administration.

Apparently Ms Singleton has been watching too much of MSNBC and CNN. The particpants of the Tea Parties were referred to as racist, ignorant and possibly violent people.

According to the left wing news media, Obama was "not aware of the Tea Parties"........oh that's right, he was making friends with the likes of Chavez....

Oh goodie, Mississippi will receive millions of dollars; no telling where the money will go and who will benefit from it. Oh......I forgot, Obama said he would be watching the Governors to make sure they dispersed the monies properly....(sigh of relief). The era of transparency.

This will make your hair stand on end.

Natchezsouthside............Only 3 moderate Republicans are supposedly in favor of this pork bill....that is not exactly what you would call bipartisan...but knowing the left wing radicals running Congress along with our great President, I am sure they will refer to is as bipartisan...and as usual people suck it all in and believe everything they hear.

I doubt this will ever get any better. Unfortunately the white population are suppose to walk around feeling guilty about slavery, jim crow, etc. even thought most of us had nothing to do with any of it. The Black population have a mad desire to be involved with everything the White people do.......if left out...it is automatically racism. I am sick of it......and so are MANY other people. Putting Obamy in office will not solve one thing..just make it worse.

Example: A black organization screaming about the fact Michelle Obama did not wear a dress by a black designer during the inauguration. and on and on and on.

Someone in this thread made the following statement

"This man has a calling on his life to lead the masses.....all he did was answer"

Lead the masses????????that is verrrrrrrry scary. As Obama said himself...."words, just words"

Well, it looks as if "Peggy the Moocher" won over "Joe the Plummer". If you are not familiar with Peggy, she is the person in Florida who was so excited after an Obama rally that she said: "I never thought this day would come, now I don't have to worry about putting gas in my car or paying my mortgage. If I help Obama, he will help me."

I think MANY people are going to be very disappointed when all the promises are not kept..there is no way Obama can do all he said he would do...he was even beginning to back down at the end of the campaign, saying it would take time.

We are at a stage in this country where it is not "what can I do for my country, but what will my country do for me." give me, give me, give me.

I have asked many people what they expect from Obama and all I ever get is "hope and change"....oh goody I cannot wait to see what that will be since no one seemed to know.

This is going to be a very interesting 4 years...and if the biased media decides they need something to hype about, watch out Obama.

As John McCain said after his defeat, " I have him right where I want him now."

I find it amazing that those of you who are complaining so much apparently have a computer and access to the internet..........that cost money. Maybe you should spend your money more wisely....and if you don't have power, how are you able to get on the internet.......or maybe you should be outside cleaning up the mess Gustav made or check out an English book at the public library and learn how to speak and write good English.

God help you if Ike hits.

Actually, I am not a member of any of the Garden Clubs in Natchez, I just happen to love flowers, thus the name "gardenflower". Yes, I do have "yardboys", they consist of my husband and myself. We are both in our seventies and thankfully can still take care of ourselves and our home and yard.

I have worked all of my life and so has my husband; so sorry that so many of you feel the way you do, but that seems to be the way in today's world.
