"All you have to is think about what is proposed!" should read "All you have to do, is think about what is proposed!"

I do dare say that the "children" are being moved out of Duncan Park.

All you have to is think about what is proposed!

If the school district came support football, basketball, etc they should have an interest in other sports, especially the life time sports.

We will either pay for the rec complex with current tax burden on the taxpayer or we will pay for it with a new tax burden on the taxpayer.

My guess is that we will pay for it on a new tax burden on the taxpayer.

Which is worst, speeding or noise!

On my street, you can heard vehicles slowing down for the speed bumps and then hear them as they accelerate after clearing the speed bump. Before, the speed bumps the street was fairly quiet.

Most folks have figured out that running over the speed bumps at normal speed is more comfortable than slowing down and accelerating back up to speed. Of course that does not apply to those pulling trailers or that have tool racks.

So with the new rec complex, the CHILDREN will be almost excluded from Duncan Park. Except for a pavilion and some playground equipment, Duncan Park will be for Golf and Tennis.

HMM!

There will be an increase or increases in taxes for the recreation complex. One pop out of the box will be a "head count" tax on attendance for a Recreation Advertising Program, Etc.

The political HOGS will not be able to help themselves. What better excuse to raise taxes than the people have spoken.

VISION

Well. it seems we are spending a lot of money on previous visions that have not worked.

If someone, some elected body, etc would just say, we are resetting priorities and some programs are going away, the recreation idea could be a winner or might be a winner.

Vision is about the NEW but it is also about abandoning pass failures.

On Vote ‘yes’ for recreation, for our kids
