On Extra points make difference for Franklin County

Classylady i know its not your fault and for the town as a whole i have worked with many young women and babies from there but i have to say i have never feared for the safety of my children as i did Friday night. There are a few ladies that i helped from there that i call DEAR friends and would do anything for them. I stated earlier they made us turn left but it was a right hand turn they made us take out of the gate on the left of the school. I know feeling can run high after a game but it should never be took that far where I could have hurt someone or they could have hurt us. I still wish the Tigers the best in the rest of the season. I cant blame the kids for jerks like the guy who caused me problems.

Classylady when we pulled out the gate the officers made us take the left hand turn. i would have much rather been allowed to take 61 south. I felt safe and fine at the game but its not good on yalls town if you cant make it out of there. I was not the only one who had to call 911 just check their report. I know it happend away from the school at Zippy Mart but the yells were still about the game and race. Im proud to be the Mother of a Franklin County Student. Best Wishes for the rest of the season Bulldogs and Tigers!

I would like to conratulate the bulldogs on your win!!! It was a hard game on both side but both sets of young men played with all their heart. Both side had calls that took away touchdowns and some calls that were not made at all.
I would like to say how upset i was last night after leaveing the game and having to drive thru downtown Fayette and having some guy step in front of my Van yelling nasty words at me and my girls and hitting my van. I will never attend a game there again. Its sad when your no longer safe at a highschool football game.

I can understand Mr Fields wanting to send his son to the school he went to. Im sure families will miss the school because it seems like part of the family. Maybe something will work out for Holy Family.

On Parents fight losing battle

Ms. Lynn my prayers are with you and the rest of your family. I am a product of a split home. I was raised by a very loving Father. My dad was wonderful. after the divorce my mom went wild so i chose to move to my dads. He was the best example a child could ask for. He ruled with love and because we respected him we had no problem following his rules. I would not call it tough love because. even as an adult if i had a problem i could turn to him for leadership. I talk in past tense because i lost my dad to cancer on Mothers Day 2 years ago today. I saw all the post talking about good mothers i could not let it past without sYING Dads can be great too. All my parents children turned out just fine. Im a pastors wife here in Natchez.

i served on the Havard case and still think death is to good for what he done to that baby. What were the reasons they could not go for death in this case? I know with Haverd we could only give it to him becase he was charged with rape and murder.

On Wood receives three life sentences

This law would help our Church right now. The men were working at the Church Saturday and my hubby went behind the church to get some wood and found that someone had stolen the copper from our A/C. Thats here in Natchez and the cops said they could not really do anything but file the report for insurance needs.
