So sad...
Texas or not, the charges will probably be Federal since the murder was on a US government reservation.

Go get 'em FBI! This crime was an act of domestic terrorism designed to create fear and keep down a particular group of people. This was part of a very real, effective, fear based effort to keep down an entire class of people. It may take many generations for our Community to emerge from such hate. In the meantime, we may be still wandering through the wilderness of denial, idolatry, and violence but its important to show that if we have progressed, we can go back and confront what was swept under the rug before.

New Orleans and St. Louis... Two Cities on the Mississippi River are the most murderous in the nation. It must be all that Muddy Water that makes them do it.

Sounds like the police did their duty, except for the beatdown at an unknown location. The officers may have crossed the line and I hope that is investigated. We should be objective and insist the police do their job, and do it professionally.

Maybe the water could also be piped into Ferriday. Let the experts do their study and best wishes for success, Rentech and Natchez. The aquafier beneath the River should be replenished automatically from the riverwater filtering down through the permeable layers. Perhaps if we access this naturally filtered water in tremendous quantities, we will have a real bargaining chip in attracting other industry to Natchez.
We need to attract major Public Works projects to this area, if they are beneficial and feasible.

"Caveat Emptor, " let the buyer beware. What happened to all you conservatives who champion free enterprise? What's more free than peddler's and fruit stands? Yes Virginia, there is risk in freedom but let the buyer beware. In travels all over the world, I find more free enterprise in Communist nations than I find on the streets of Natchez.

I remember when I was in grade school and junior high back in the 80's, we had convicts come to speak to us about how bad life is in prison. But Snoop has gotten rich off of glorifying drugs and crime...

Good on you Mr. White for admitting that it IS TORTURE!! More honest than Bush and Condi! But what does the torture bit have to do with racism and Tea Parties? Are the Tea parties pro torture? I thought it was about taxes?

Also, I agree the Tea Parties are not racist.

Don't forget Mccain was also against torture for detainees (POWS are what they are).
