Good story. Being a Nam veteran who fought with the 101st Airborne Division from '67 to '68 I really thank you for sharing that story of such a brave man. God Bless.

APPLEBYS gave lunch to all the veterans today in Jackson, Ms. The Golden Coral will do it Monday at 5pm. Being a Nam vet, and a proud member of the 101st Airborne, I shook hands with a lot of veterans today, and welcomed them back home.

To the family of this fallen hero, the prayers of our family will continue to be made for you all in this time of great sorrow. This young trooper gave his life in the line of duty for this great country.
His wings are flying easy now, and his sacrifice is duly noted. Smooth sailing "PARATROOPER". AIRBORNE..ALL THE WAY.

You guys should live in Rankin Co. where the true haters
are. You would really see that the old time is still alive and well. What are those two words? "just saying."

I read Mr. rattlesnake's statement and I had to step away from the screen for a little while. I thought about all of the men who fought and were wounded, and died in the Vietnam war. I say that war, because that's the one I got wounded in. They died or got wounded so this man could have his freedom to do whatever he think is right. As long as it's in the confines of the law. Every President I have known and respected has been White. I learned in the military to respect him, and I still have that in me. But we live in a new day now, and we have a Black president and noone can change that. Rattlesnake has a right to do what he want with his children. Just like I have a right with my own. I teach my children to respect our President, and they do. Even when former President Bush was in that position.
Even Mr. Randall has a right to spew his trash all over the place. It's their right. Being a Black man I never taught my kids to hate anyone , not even our White Presidents. But, these people have their place in history too.
