Don't talk to strangers. Go back to the old days and meet them with the business end of a Smith & Wesson. The bad ones won't show up again!

On Police searching for suspects in knife attack

Rolling houses is one thing, destruction of property is another. I read comments all the time about how North Natchez kids need to be punished, these kids are heading down the wrong road, they should be punished, they should be made to do community service and pay for damages. If they're old enough to drive they're old enough to work. If they didn't have so much time on their hands this wouldn't go on. Idle hands and all. THERE IS NOTHING TO DO HERE AND THEY ARE LOOKING FOR KICK. ALL GOOD ALCOHOLICS START OUT THIS WAY!!! Why worry about their future at all.

Amen MSviaTN,

When I moved here almost 20 years ago, there were buses left and right coming though here, you don't see that anymore. Even the tourism is dying. I'm taking the high road and getting out myself, this is ridiculous. Everyone keeps calling us little Jackson, it's more like we're turning into Fayette.

On Arrest pending in U.S. 61 North shooting

In Mississippi, it's leagle to fire at someone you feel is threatening your life. You can even do this from your vehicle as it is an extention of your home. I'd bet money that if someone were to stand up to these young punks, and blow them away this crap would come to a halt. These kids have no fear, the judicial system lets them go with a slap on the wrist and we hide in our homes in fear. Grow a pair Natchez and put some fear back into these kids. Make them scared to mess with people.

On Juvenile arrested for murder

Another murder, and they still haven't arrested anyone in the Terry Farmer case. They have an accessory after the fact, so why has no one been arrested? Now another.

The city is going bankrupt, violent crimes are on the rise, and all anyone can do is sit around and complain instead of doing anything about it. Politics...change that and everything else should change...it's coming, its just going to come too late. Get out while you can!

Honeybee, maybe you should go read up on Anonymity and remember gossip is a polite form of murder, it is character assassination. Under any circumstances, what Terry suffered was vicious and unnecessary. Everyone has their own demons and ways to deal with them. Terry had the sweetest personality of anyone I've ever known, always smiling, always a friend, a true Christian. I'm glad there is finally a break in this case, I knew someone would talk, eventually. I'm certain her family is grateful that something is finally being done about this, I know I am.

This is why I'm trying to get relocated ASAP!! Natchez cares more about putting money into tourism than taking care of its own by putting that money into soliciting industry. Average everyday citizens that have no hope of employment because there aren't enough jobs to support us. Somebody around here needs to grow a set and redirect the city's priorities.

Maybe they can make the woman's Medicaid pay for the hospital bills! I loved the rollover minutes and the dropped call remarks, it's nice to giggle over coffee, haha.
