I feel almost embarressed for the guy that wears his pants down below his butt when i walk behind him, he would feel the same way if he saw what we saw...and the ones that keep pulling their pants up..that has to be annoying to them to keep doing that over and over and over. I will be glad when that fashion trend ends. The loud music annoys me...i don't care to hear the words to your songs...you'd pbl. hate mine too...I esp. don't like the ones with the cheap speakers. I agree that the mall caters to bad fashion. Why can't we get good shops in there? Have they ever tried to get something good in there?

The study was part of formality like the audits to prepare the hospital for sale according to what Philips was quoted as saying in nd...what if no one wants to buy? I would like to know what other hospitals are interested if any what they have to say. I hope the Board of Supv. asks a lot of good questions and don't go into closed session, i think everyone should be able to hear what is said. There appear to be lots of renovations in progress can't say the same for NCH.

I remember them all,those were fun times. We had the Lucky Theatre in Meadville. I won a talent show and got free tickets to see an Elvis movie. The Ritz had those funny mirrors out front and the Baker Grande had that grand staircase..wasn't it 3 stories?

I can't believe i just read that the study was based on a telephone call...and that the CDC says the south has a large concentration of rural residents and black women the two higher obesity rates. So the moral to this story is ...if you are living in a rural area and a black woman who answered the phone and particpated in this survey , then you should learn to lie about your age and weight like the women do in california. There...we're on top for the next random telephone report coming from the CDC for all of America to read.

Foot patrol? Sounds dangerous..maybe foot patrol could be done in some of the bars to cut down on underage drinking or road blocks on friday and sat. nights for drunk drivers?? 1 hour of road block would be the equivilant of 10 min. an hour right or if they turned their cars off when pulling someone over that could be the same. I doubt our officers have 10 minutes on a shift to spend on foot patrol but then i like the road block ideas. Works in Franklin County!

I didn't read all that you ppl. are talking about in that article. It never says the girl turned him in...did she? what age minor? I would certainly have been monitoring if my underage daughter was on myspace. Maybe the parents were monitoring her...you have to esp. on myspace. Way to go! If someone has a bad history chances are they're not changing and are still up to no good.

That would be great if it were a Red Lobster..love the one in pensacola. I know some of tracetown was owned by butch brown family and friends...so if he puts a new interchange with street going into tracetown..maybe he will put a good business there. I don't agree with the RV Resort being in downtown...shouldn't it be where the view is better? I would love to see those million dollar RV's around town...like the one in palm springs...with a golf course on it..hey maybe he could put it at the old country club on pine ridge road...or bellwood golfing with a view of the river. i think everyone here loves to hear good things about natchez on the news and in articles...Southern Lady magazine just featured Natchez..Food network was here..movies filmed here..hey thats tourism!! Industry? How many ppl. say hey i want to work in a factory when i grow up? No that was the only option for many coming out of school here..Those kinds of factorys obviously aren't needed anymore...there needs to be smart industry here..what is needed now in the world...something that is needed for years to come..Rentech is working on something for the future..there have to be many more that we could attract. We are on the verge of recyling our waste.Supervisors get busy! If the complex in texas was the largest subcontractor of the pentagon making parts for something then obv. natchez could subcontract making parts for planes, etc. Like natchez regional they are looking for someone to come in to bring services / new ideas that are needed to this area. lets move ahead i say...go for it butch.
