When you live in a bowl that is surrounded by water and that water has to be CONSTANTLY pumped out to keep your home dry and that home is on the coast in a KNOWN hurricane zone, its not a matter of if but WHEN its going to happen. And, since it has already happened once the PEOPLE should be prepared themselves. The government should not have to "prepare" people for something the KNOW is going to happen. When these people moved back after Katrina they knew what they were getting in. There should not be one tax dollar spent on doing this again. When do you learn? When do you take PERSONAL responsiblity? Did anyone see the flooding in Ohio on TV? Where were all the movie stars coming to their benefit? Where were all the free FEMA trailers for these people? I guess since there was no looting and neighbors killing each other over Nike's and TV's it wasnt worth putting on the news. The truth is, these people helped themselves. New Orleans should learn from Ohio. All NO knows it take, take, take. Sit back and watch. Millions of dollars will be put back into that bowl for all those sad people affected by catastrophe. They should have learned the first time. Period.

I like that my post got "edited" even though I noted the source of the copied material.
As far as the "muslim" comment. I make no apology. In my opinion its like a cancer, slowly spreading and eventually will ruin our country and our world. But again, just to be clear, that is my opinion. I hope that clears it up for you. I neither fear nor am ashamed of where I stand or my beliefs. I believe there is more to this man (Obama) than we see. Some will believe I only say that because of his skin color and that is their right. The honest truth is I dont care if he was white, hispanic or otherwise. This man, again in my opinion, will bring this country to its knees, but for the wrong reasons. Again, just my opinion. Maybe I need to spend more time on the net blogging and getting the facts. :)

blogfather, if you would read the bottom of my post it clearly says "copied". I didnt accuse him of anything except a muslim background which has been proven. The rest was copied (and factual I may add) of his past. If it makes me an "idiot" to state factual material then it must make you a FOOL to look past the facts. As a matter of fact I agree with YOU with a lot of what was written about McCain. In my opinion Palin is the best thing to happen to his candidacy. Biden on the other hand? Not impressed. Lastly, in your comment you put he "alledgedly" participated. I think all the statements I made and copied were clearly backed up by fact and not alledged by anyone. Fact is my friend, you are the Idiot.

All I know is that a "little bit" of muslim is too much. Here are some issues I have a problem with:
Obama, despite his statements to the contrary, has never voted or supported any legislation that would limit abortion, even partial birth abortion. He also opposed a bill in the Illinois legislature that would have protected infants who were born alive due to botched abortions, the only senator to do so. Obama did not support the proposed law, which would have prevented babies from being allowed to die on the table! This is infanticide, pure and simple! However, since he has gained the nomination, Obama’s new position is that he would have supported it, if it had been like the federal law. But now we have discovered that it was, in fact, identical to a law passed by Congress. So Obama lied to hide his extreme position on abortion.
Jeremiah Wright was Obama’s pastor for more than 20 years in Chicago. Yet instead of using his church to promote the teachings of Jesus, which you might expect in a Church of Christ, Wright promoted a radical ideology known as Black Liberation Theology that would be as vile as any racist teachings, if whites were conducting it. Can you imagine White Liberation Theology? Wright continually trashes the United States, the “US of KKKA,” as he has referred to it, screaming “God D— America” in his sermons. This man claims the U.S. government created the Aids virus to exterminate blacks and is the biggest sponsor of terrorism in the world. But he also married Obama and his wife Michelle, as well as baptized his two daughters. So why would Obama continue to reside in this church for more than two decades, leaving only when the political heat became too much?
William Ayers was a member of the Weather Underground, a radical anti-American group who carried out bombings of the Pentagon, the U.S. Capitol, and a New York City police station in the 1960s. He was arrested but a mistake by the prosecutors office allowed him to go free. Ayers has never been punished for his crimes and to this day he is unrepentant, writing on September 11, 2001 that he did not believe he had done enough! Barack Obama continues to maintain his friendship with Ayers, serving on boards with him and giving speeches. Would any decent citizen remain friends with a unforgiving terrorist?
Never has a presidential candidate for any major party had this much baggage. And no self-respecting American citizen would ever associate with such a cast of characters. So why does Barack Obama? Do we really want a president who is good friends with someone serving serious prison time for corruption, an unrepentant terrorist, and a radical preacher who hates the United States?

I agree. A major city in central Texas has already made it clear that we would NOT be accepting busloads of refugees of any kind, and that any who come under their own power to public centers would be required to have criminal background checks before being taken in. Its sad that so many "good" people dont have a chance because of the ungrateful idiots who precede them. MCCAIN/PALIN !!! You have to admire a woman who when asked about the death penalty says LINE EM UP!

redusmfan...any comment from "oldshool" (should be yngful)...lol.
It just reminds me of a couple things: The misslou area is a nice place, and it is "home". But this is one of the reasons I moved my family from there. Here is a prime example of ignorance that thinks its smart. That not only makes a person stupid....but almost to the point you just have to step back and wonder if you got some of it on you....you know, like crap.
The other thing is this "gangsta" stuff. Black/white/mexican, it doesnt matter. If you think you are "gangsta" see the above. It just makes the smart people around you understand that you are ignorant and need to be overlooked. Most of them arent smart enough to buy the right size pants so how can we expect them to be intelligent productive members of society?
It happens everywhere...where I am now and there. It just seems to be SO MUCH more predominant THERE. Good luck misslou....you need it.

I think he is using his new "gangsta" keyboard. Instead of "F1 F2 etc" it has "Ho Da Sho'nuf" and other quick keys. Runs Winders 5.0 (five pirnt oh).
I havent posted in a LONG time...this one just took the cake. All my co workers here in Texas are rolling in the floor on this one. Thanks idiot...you made my day!

There was a point in high school we were best friends. Jay was never afraid to tackle anything, but always had a heart. This is just one more tragedy this family didnt need. Paul, Beth, and everyone else. You are in our prayers. Jay, thanks for the friendship. You will be dearly missed.
