It was sleeting pretty hard at my house this morning also. It may have not been doing anything but raining in some places around town, but if it is icing over on the streets, I don't want my child to travel to school on a bus or with me in my car. I am NOT gonna take that chance. If you people were to send your child on to school on a bus in icey conditions, and the bus has a wreck, who are you gonna blame. I'm sure you would then say they should have closed the schools if there was any ice on the streets anywhere in Natchez, even if it wasn't icey at your house. Think about it.....

I know that the children were taken away from their mother, but didn't she have some sort of visitation with them? I would think so. She should have known something was wrong with her baby had she seen him. Or somebody should have seen him and knew something was wrong. They said on the news that he was always fully dressed so that no one would see his body. I would know if I saw a 4 year old that weighed only 19 pounds was very sick. I'm sure just looking at his little face you could see he was sick.
I hope that these people are starved just like they did to him, but they wont be. They will be served 3 meals a day. I'm sure the other prisoners want be too happy about what they have done so maybe they will take care of them for us. I also hope they get everyone that knew something about it but did nothing and punish them as well.

Thanks Tim. People like that are so annoying. They want to correct everyone and they can't even spell correctly themselves. Everyone makes mistakes but we don't want to hear about it constantly.

Are they going to install speed bumps on every street in every neighborhood in Adams Co.? People speed on our street also, but I don't want speed bumps on our road. I don't like them and I don't think they really help. People just speed in between them and slow down when they get right to them.

I have never been out there. I usually take my kids house to house trick or treating, but hardly anyone participates anymore. I will be coming to Springfield this year. Sounds like fun and a much safer place to be.

To Amanda's Family: I am so very sorry for your loss of this special young lady. Amanda was a very sweet person. I can still see her smile and hear that wonderful laugh she had.
You know, Amanda couldn't be with her children as she wanted to, to watch over them and take care of them when she was here, but now she is their special angel and she can watch them and take care of them forever. God knew they needed to be taken care of by her and now she can do it. She will be greatly missed by all, but remember, you will see her again. Brenda and Archie Jr.

Some of the comments are not coming on in the order received, but by time. Is it because of the clocks on different computers are wrong? Just wondering......
