What's wrong with some of you people? Why do you even consider running a red light and option? You have known what the law stated ever since you took the driving test and were issued a license to drive! Get over it!!!

The more post I read after the articles published in the ND the more I realize that sammohon has got more sense about running the government than most all of the current elected officials combined. So, when are you going to get out from behind the drawing board and get on a ballot?

It looks like you have done more with Silverado in 100 days than most people do with themselves in a lifetime. Good luck at the competition! I anxiously await the results.

This is a surprise, I thought the statute of limitations did not apply to murder charges.

Congratulations and best wishes to both of you. May you have a long and happy life together.
Now, maybe the "team of three" who make the decisions will become aware of the fact that it is not necessary, but, rather too redundant, to have the same top stories listed three times on the home page of the web edition. Is that one headline for each of you? I would prefer to see the previous day's headlines repeated than to see the same one in three different spots on the same page.

I don't know about the rest of you, but, the wind was blowing in my neighborhood!!! I didn't get hot because I opened the doors and let the breeze blow through. I know that some of those with medical problems have to have AC and I sympathize with them and their discomfort. As long as the water and gas are on, I can remain comfortable... I can bathe in hot water and cook the food as it thaws. I did not have much in the freezer to loose. I feel very fortunate to have weather the storm so free of problems. Actually, I felt like my peace and quiet were infringed upon when the television came back on again... guess I need to use the off switch more often!

What does the "northwest corner of the intersection of Orleans and Pearl Streets" have to do with Magnolia Hall? It is situated on the northeast corner of the intersection of Washington and Pearl Streets. According to the carriage tour guides, Pleasant Hill, which is on the southwest corner of Orleans and Pearl intersection, was moved from the corner of Washington and Pearl so that Magnolia Hall could be built. Please, get a map, a compass and all of the story.

It is Gerald McCraney. I have met him and Delta Burke. They were both very gracious to the small group of fans.

Congratulation Casey and Dianne this is an honor, but, I am VERY far from being a dyed-in-the-wool liberal. In fact, only the fanatics are more conservative than I. Looking forward to reading your blog.

Pointing out the sins of a small number of clergy in the Catholic Church is not the issue. The sex scandal has been dealt with... steps to eliminate and rectify the problem are in place. Lily describes the Catholic Church as being "holier than though (thou), predator". It is a fact that the Catholic Church is the ONLY one which was established by Jesus Himself. Nowhere in the Catholic doctrine is it stated that the members have to be without sin to join. That is not condoning the clergy's action regarding sex abuse, but, after all, they are human and they sin just like the rest of us.
Abortion supporters should be challenged on their stance. "Thou shalt not kill" was commanded by God. What is it about those four words that make it impossible for abortion supporters to grasp? It couldn't be any more clearly stated. A baby just doesn't pop out and then come to life like Pinocchio. It was living BEFORE it was born. Abortion is just as wrong and cold blooded as any murder committed... actually, it is worse since it is against the most helpless of the helpless.
God did not give us the option to pick and choose which commandments we wanted to follow. Abortion is a grave sin and it is our responsibility as Christians to help others lead a Christian life.
On Catholic bishops will fight Obama on abortion
