The last Supe. Dr. Davis let on his own. He was not ousted out by parents but he wanted more money so he left. Despite the obvious similarity he has with Morris, the two were completely different because he seemed to care about the children and our community. He also was very intelligent and respected parents and returned their phone calls immediaitely not weeks or months later like Morris who has TWO secretries basically to screen his calls. He did much more than Morris but unfortunately Morris has gotten the money that the board did not want to give to Davis. How much of this money do you think has been spent locally. About 1-5% for gas.

What exactly did Glen do while in office but have the town in great debt while he was trying to be a rock star. Vote for the best candidate and that is Gene Allen.

John when was the last time you visited the middle school and id you ever visit it last year. You can't be serious ask those that work there. It is even worse than NHS. See with your eyes and not your ears.

This was a calcualted move and they truly hoped that there would be a small turnout. I talked to over ten teachers yesterday and none knew of this meeting. Plus look at the location. Why was it held at ASU nursing school which is not located within miles of any school in Natchez. Do alot of parents and students live near ASU Nursing school. Why not hold these meetings at Frazier Elem., Lewis Middle, Natchez High school etc. which are ideal centralized locations. Furthermore, the public IS NOW SICK AND TIRED of the SMOKESCREEN technique that requires your questions to be submitted in advance so a COMMITTE of his Morris' croonies will have time to sit and formulate hot air answers to the concerns they CHOOSE to address. The Public is also not allowed to talk either because we are too ignorant and uncivilized in Natchez ( ask Morris ) to have an open discussion. Unfair to taxpayers which most of them aren't. Marsalis needs to go back across the river too. he's been burned out and he is just here to collect two checks and Social Security benefits that Louisiana does not have. Dr. Loftin at NHS ( part time principal) runs the school from his cell phone at his home in BROOKHAVEN. TIME FOR CHANGE. Sorry ND but we are beyond tired of the hot air. Save the hot air for the election coverage and the Baloon Race.

If the majority of the school board members loyalty is to one individual who they are best buddies with and not to the children or parents in the school system an alternative measure has to be found. Ask the board members how many times a year they visit these schools ( not even at NHS graduation for most ) and their answer will have to be between 0 and 3 times a year. This says a lot in a nut shell. Bucket is no better though because he never visits schools , probably too busy playing golf and tearing down Pecan factories, and he is the one who set off the bomb about twenty years ago that ultimately destroyed the schools. I bet if North Natchez was still open it would not be a level 2 school. Taylor, Edney, Steckler do not give a hoot about the schools they just love Morris because he hates kids too and is a recluse like them. He has gotten over a $55,000 pay raise in four years of failed performance. Why, its not like other school districts are beating at his door trying to steal Morris ( an inexperienced superintendent , lacks people skills, not a leader, not very bright, has no idea how to improve test scores, not active/visible in community) from Natchez, if this was the case do you think he would still be here ?????????

In support of Mrs. Newsome, she is a NATCHEZ teacher for over 30 yrs. Mrs. Mayo is ok too but she worked UNDER Morris and she is too buddy-buddy with him to hold him accountable. this would be a conflict of interest. The only board members that care are the new ones, Newsome and Matilda Stephens. Mrs. Steckler just got the position due to the death of her husband and their kids when to Private schools as well. She just agrees with whatever Morris says and does not have a position or comment on anything. We need one more board member who cares and we ( those that want the best for our entire community ) will have the majority ! Taylor looked like he was about to cry last night, hilarious. Does he have any kids that attend (ed) public schools or any at all for that point. Exile the following people to an island : Morris will be Gilligan. Edney will be the Professor, Steckler will be Mary Ann and we'll make up a new character for Taylor. Call VH1 or MTV it will be hilarious and good to help promote tourism in Natchez as well.

I guarantee if and when Morris is gone, Taylor and Edney will go too. Their loyalty is to Morris, not the students. Thought they were supposed to be his boss not his buddy ole pal or whatever ?? Grennell is a college professor but he is secretly in support of Morris as well. He was mighty quiet last night at a meeting concerning education. This is out of his character because he usually likes to flaunt his intelligene and his expertise in articulation and vocabulary in a public forum. Is there a hidden agenda that the public needs to be aware of ? Just curious
On Should Natchez-Adams County Schools Superintendent Anthony Morris be removed from his position?

I salute the relative as well for assisting the sheriff dept. Give his but some time in jail where we know he won't be able to break in homes at least while he's in jail. Tougher sentencing will reduce some criminal activity in Natchez, especially from repeat offenders and career criminals.
