The prosecution should've asked for a change of venue. I am almost positive had this been tried in another jurisdiction the verdict would be different.

Why would Ferriday use this money to fix a farmer's market when they have the water issues that are going on? Is there something I don't know, or is this the classic example of having the cart before the horse? I don't live there, just wondering.

tball.....None. It is an act of nature. His insurance would cover it. I have gone through this exact senario 3 times in the past 4 years. Once a tree (from city property) total one of my company cars. My insurance had to pay. Tree fell from my company property onto neighbors house. Their insurance paid. The other time my neighbors tree fell and damaged my house. My insurance had to pay.

Krogers, this is probably the bird you were seeing. The first time I spotted them I was alligator hunting in south concordia parish, and I thought the same thing.
