Ms. Lynette....I have experienced these little summer camps that you do, and I think they are great. BUT, I think you might want to reconsider this idea...keep the fun outside. I'm afraid the Arcade will get TRASHED!!

It's great this kids are able to play football, but who is going to be "TEACHING" them English, Math, etc., next year?? :-(

This totally insane. There is no reason in the world why the town of Ferriday should pay for his "going out" party!!
Glen, as incoming mayor, I hope that you are maybe trying to do something to stop this. If not, there probably won't be any money left come July!!!

My problem is that Cedric's police report of DWI (which I'm assuming is stemming from this accident) was reported in Sunday's paper, BUT there was no mention of this horrific accident until this afternoon. What a shame!
I knew Terrance well...I teach at HHS and was very fond and proud of him. A very good kid and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. My prayers go out to his family and everyone else who is suffering during this terrible tragedy.

Such a tragedy...my prayers are with both families. I was told the truck driver had a heart attack after realizing what had happened. May God be with all of you at this time.

Thank goodness the "travel expense" was declined. He was probably going to have his "LAST BIG BANG" on Ferriday....New Orleans and Las Vegas?!?!? Why would he NEED to go to a convention for Black Mayors, as he is no longer going to be a Black Mayor as of July?????
