Kevin and Muggle,
Thank you both so much for being kind and caring people. the only way some of us can know how Mr. James is doing is through this newpaper. As for the mayor of natchez I would think his health care and his home is his choice not the choice of the voters. On the other hand there is alot of people from Vidalia that receive health care in Natchez. They also buy clothes and lots of other things from Natchez. Are they angry at us too.

Mskitty
I am by no means an expert of traffic accidents but in the event the truck had come to a stop a couple of feet in front of a bus there would have been no skid marks. As for noone caring about the drivers of the other vehicle-I have seen several post praying for all involved. I think this would mean bus-truck-emergency personel and anyone else that was at the scene. MR. Cockerham is not being portrayed as a saint. He happened to receive the worst injuries and like it or not he is a well liked and respected person in our community. Could we please save the "fault" untill the people that are paid to reconstrut traffic accidents have been allowed to do their job. I am sure they will share this information if they see fit to do so.

Kindness

I saw your comment this morning, however I did not have time to comment on it. YOU have a very mean spirit. How dare you post such a comment when this man is fighting for his life. The "kindest" thing for a person using the name "kindness" would have been not to post anything. If you can not wish Mr. James a speedy recovery perhaps you could offer a prayer for the children that were injured and the chldren that saw their bus driver in that condition. Please do not post anything unkind when people are hurting- it is very uncalled for.

supermom I do apologize if I offened, it certainly was not my intention. Thanks for the up to date info on what the young people of Cathedral have done for the troops. Djarum-everyone knows the animals are important, also, perhaps you could come up with some ideas and talk to some of the wonderful young people in the Natchez- Vidalia area. I'm sure there are several that would be wiling to help raise money for your cause. But please do not belittle them for the choice they made for the money they collected. Anyone young or old in the world today that will lift a hand to help a neighbor-be he next door or across the ocean should be embraced not criticized.

It would have been really nice if those kids would have used the money they collected to send gifts to our troops overseas.

Hammers was home sleeping--he doesn't do the night shift thing. Billy and Randy love to take credit if their guys do good but if they screw up and life is lost or a family is put through a living hell then both of them are unaware of the problem.. (live here and speaking from experience)

Buttercup, I doubt Mr. Vines is addicted to drinking, gambling or drugs. He is probably like the majority of people in public office in Adams County and Concordia Parish--- addicted to greed and power!!!
