A piano bar would be a nice addition to downtown. LOVESNATCHEZ and Krogers are right. Why is it that anytime someone tries to put something in this town it turns into a hassle? We should be glad that there are people who are turning these ugly buildings into nice places.

Randy Freeman and Ray Brown are both great guys. Either would make a good sheriff.

The ND does love to beat an old dead horse. Once they get their opinion on something, it just goes on and on and on.

Hambone is right - $16,000 is a reasonable amount. However, is that a correct number - our mayor makes $118,948?

I am glad that Darryl is continuing to push the legislators about the contract for the prison - we really need those 300 jobs.
By the way, ND, I believe that paragraph 15 should read "...only one of two supervisors across the COUNTRY (not county) that was appointed.." That one little R makes a world of difference in how much of an honor this appointment actually is.

Thanks, ND, for printing this. Thompson39120, I assume they will print this periodically - maybe a couple of months at a time. Bayougranny is right - all of these people will spend something in our city. Now we just need to make sure litter is picked up..!!

Good writing, Chuck. And why is Mike Lazarus always the supervisor being quoted in the paper?!!!

Thanks, LOVESNATCHEZ. This person posts the most negative comments and I'm really getting tired of it. Our city has its faults but we do love it.
