This guy should still be in jail. Maybe the person that let him out should be held responsible for this incident.

I signed up to get email alerts when a sex offender moves within 2 miles of my home or the schools. So far three have moved within 2 miles and I have yet to receive an email. I check at least once a week to make sure I know who they are and where they are. I do not let my kids go out by themselves unless they are in the back yard where I can see them. They will not talk to anybody unless I say it is ok. It is a shame that you can not feel safe in your own neighborhood anymore. When I was little I ran our road from sun up to sun down. Everybody knew me and if I got out of line they called my grandmother and I was in DEEP trouble.

Someone told me not so long ago that if I knew all of the offenders that live in the MissLou that I would pack my family up and never come back. This person knows who all of the offenders are who have been convicted and the ones that are being watched.

It was in the crime reports on here. You can't go back and look at it though I tried. It said he was arrested for statutory rape and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. In statutory rape the girl or boy consent to the sex but the parents can press charges even if the girl or boy does not want them to and it will not matter if it was forced rape or not. So the question is was it rape or statutory rape?

BenWyles, why would there children be any safer in Vidalia? We are only a bridge apart. Do you not think if they were intent on harming an officers child they would let that bridge stop them? They could just as easily come over here and open fire in a classroom full of innocent children.

I forgot about Natchez Little Theater. They could share the building.

My grandmother got her first job at 14 working in this theater. She had so many wonderful stories that she would tell. I have the perfect thing! It should be turned into a theater with old movies on the weekends that serves dinner for couples or families. They could have fixed tables with chairs that swivel so you can eat and watch a movie. It could offer movies for date nights three weekends a month and family night one weekend a month. They had one on the in Biloxi that was fun.

My mom used to run behind the one here in Vidalia when she was younger. She said they would chase it on their bikes with their mouths open. Yeah, she has had squamous cell carcinoma a form of cancer in her mouth twice. They usually only see that type of cancer in heavy drinkers and smokers and she has done neither. She swears the DEET in the fog caused it. My kids come inside now when the bug machine comes. I used to play behind it too.

Teach there is a nice new water park in Collins, MS. It is only two hours away if that is closer for you. It is in a small town so it is not very busy. That is where we go!
