Is it really necessary to run down police officers that you know nothing about. Once again lets beat them down verbally. Being a police officer is a thankless job. Please remember that there are some officers who take pride in serving their community and their country. A little support from the citizens they serve can go a long way. Try reaching out your hand to a police officer and/or firefighter the next time you run into one. You may be the very person they rescue one day.

Thank you Mr. Rushing for your comments on supporting your local law enforcement officers.

Ms. Obama, Doing something constructive with your time would mean supporting your local officers, deputies, neighborhood watch programs, etc. I'm sorry you have not gotten a good impression of Natchez. Maybe one day you'll have the pleasure of meeting our police officer. A true gentleman who loves his job, loves Natchez and also serves his country.

Another gambling boat is the last thing Natchez needs. Natchez already has enough problems without bringing in another enabler for people to blow their money on. Children are being neglected, moved from pillar to post, no stability while their parent(s) try to "take a chance" with what little money that have. This boat is by no means a good economic move for Natchez. It's just another trashy site along what used to be a beautiful riverbank. Wise up Natchez!

Hello Natchez, I am a proud relative of a Natchez Police Officer. Our police officer is very dedicated to his job. Our current police force is understaffed, overworked, underpaid and yet they still choose to serve ALL of the citizens of Natchez. I challenge each of the above naysayers to apply for a job with the police force, attend the training academy and let's just see how many of you would actually graduate from the academy.
Natchez citizens need to join together with Police Chief Mike Mullins and his officers to better Natchez. Join your local Neighborhood Watch Program. Do something constructive with your time.

Why was Mike Huckabee's name left off the list of candidates? He is the only choice for President. He is a Christian Conservative and the only one who is able to speak with any sense. The South had better wake up and pull together or we'll have no telling what running our country.

I'm sorry but Jamie is correct. This man showed up at our church tonight. James Bowman was confronted about his past experiences. His untruths were exposed to our entire congregation. Once confronted Mr. Bowman excused himself to the restroom and simply disappeared.
This man needs your prayers.

Thank you Jamie for taking the time to contact our church. I truly hope others use caution when confronted with this type of situation. Remember Matthew 7:15.

It is really sad that the people posting these comments tries to run down police officers that they have never met. If these people had any idea what it takes to become an officer of the law or a firefighter they would not post such ridiculous comments. Please remember that they too are human just as you are. These news articles are for informational purposes not a place to run down people, not matter what their occupation is. You should be ashamed.

Sunday is Veterans Day. What better way to support and recognize our fallen soldiers, those retired and those currently serving our country by attending church praying for all of these men and thanking our Lord Jesus Christ for dying for our sins.

Natchez currently has hometown men overseas as we speak defending our country. Please pray for their safety.

On Will you go to any Veteran’s Day events?

I cannot believe i am reading these nonrelated and cruel comments posted on an article concerning a local policer officer's accident. This officer of the law puts his life on the line everyday for everyone who lives or passes thru Natchez. Each of you should be ASHAMED of your comments.

To the Kaho family we pray that Officer Kaho recovers quickly and is back on the streets of Natchez very soon.
