I don't comment to much,But I can not understand why it always turns to a white-black thing...(1949NTZmom)?? It is the way kids today think. They act first think later.(If they get caught)I have lived in Natchez for many years, and a lot of stores I go to have more blacks than whites.Whats it matter?I dont hollar they hire blacks before whites. I have gradkids that are mixed, I can tell you one thing I love them, But feel sorry that they have to grow up in a world that can't be happy with the fact that we have freedom others do not have. But will have to grow up with black-white poor me crap. Not thank you God for all we have. The thing we need to pray about is all these kids with guns and growups that say they just have to protect themselfs.

(unclered)?? All I can say is my gosh, what a crazy thing to say "Law of natural selection". I take it you dont think God has a perfect plan for everything. My God knows all and dont make mistakes.. He lets crazy people do crazy things at times, But there was a reason the three men were there at that time. God Bless the Heroe's.

I met the steckler family years ago when we worked at the hunting camp. The Steckler family as a whole are people if you ever have the chance to meet you will never forget. Dr, Steckler was a very special man and raised his children to be just the same. Jennifer was a very sweet girl and always had a smile for others. Our prayers go out to your family in your time of loss. Susan Dawson

(Dutch)You said two sides to every story..True.. We are both related to this story, Just different sides. I said (two wrongs two people.)Because she should of never moved in with him, and he should of never let her if he dident want to step up to the plate and do right. So many people in this world today put up with alot of things they should not have to, because they think there is no other choice. I will say when a person already has a "You need me, I don't need you, attitude" and they drink alcohol, It only makes things worse for everyone. I feel sorry for the kids that have to see this kind of grownup example's in life. For they are the one who suffer.

I can say there is always two sides.I have never had to deal with domestic violence. Except what my own daughters have been through due to some bad choices in men.Poor man in the hospital I guess he should of been thinking when he hit her and he knocked her to the ground as she held their baby girl. Then when she got in the truck to leave and he went to throw somthing thru the windsheild.DUH.. Who would not react without thinking?? Just as he did when he hit her and when he hit the baby in the back one time trying to hit the momma. No one will ever know all that went on there that night. But dont make out like he was just a angel not doing any wrong..(A case of two wrongs...two people

My husband knew Les before we married.I met him on our first of many trips to the Alex.zoo. When my father-in-law was in the hospital in Alexandria with his heart, We stayed at the hospital. One day we took the kids to the zoo for a little break. Before we left that day Les stopped us and gave us free passes to the zoo, and said while you are up here you come on over anytime you need to get out. I know he will be missed very much,I would bet he made foot prints on many hearts and will be missed very much. I feel the same as "Kaintuck" (I am sure Jesus is proud of Les) God bless his family in this time of great loss..
