When my kids were in the Vidalia schools, there was never any liquid soap nor was there ever any paper towels to dry their hands with. We were told that they didn't put paper towels in the bathrooms because some of the kids would stuff them down the toilets causing them to overflow. Can't believe that's still the problem to this day; on the other hand I guess I can believe it!
Clorox wipes are a great idea to wipe down desks, but perhaps do it on a DAILY basis instead of bi-weekly would be even better. Also, how about using Lysol spray every class, even using the Clorox Wipes plus the Lysol in the bathrooms? Do the janitors do anything to sanitize the bathrooms? I'm just wondering. Something needs to be done, even throughout every day of the school year! Who wants to go to a nasty school? A great school should be a
CLEAN school!!!!

pbnj... From what I read, it stated that the officers were dispatched to Natchez Regional and that's where Gaylor reported the incident. :)

The article actually doesn't state that the child's doctor sent her, it just says that the mother took her to a specialist. I'm pretty sure I know which specialist she's talking about, and if I guess right then I know the child will be just fine, because I've been to that specialist a bunch of times when my children were smaller. I've even gone to him for myself and he is great! A particular ENT around here never seemed to have the mannerism I look for in a true, caring doctor. The one in McComb cares, and takes his time and allows time for you to ask any questions or listen to any concerns that you may have. It's a crying shame, we just don't have that around here!
Gracie, I hope you have a speedy recovery sweetie! And, Paige, thank you for helping take care of your little sister. The two of you will remember this for years to come!

Bayou... Ususally Wal-Mart has them posted in the front of the store when you first walk through the double-glassed doors. Also, perhaps give the Concordia Parish School Board Office a call. They should be able to tell you where you can obtain the lists.

To me, this is about as low as it can get by burglarizing a CHURCH??? If these people don't get what they deserve on earth, they will when the rapture takes place!
Momof1, I totally agree with you! Amen. Amen.

OldGrandDad... I like your attitude! I totally agree with you.
As far as fraidoclowns goes... It seems to me you are FAR more afraid of something, and it's NOT clowns. The sad thing is that it's something you absolutely have no idea just what it is, but someday you'll find out and it may be too late. Deep, deep down inside, you are hurting to the bone my friend, and you are blaming anything and anybody that crosses your path. You hold such a harsh grudge and you're having a VERY hard time forgiving. You blame people and you blame God for whatever happened. It seems you once believed and now you don't because whatever has happened has done just that... happened. You think if God really exists then He wouldn't have let whatever happened do that. Sometimes in this life, God ALLOWS things to happen and for a reason. We may never, ever find out the reason, but we are not to question Him. It could be, though, so that you or someone close to you can come to know Him and be set free... free from guilt, hurt, shame; the list can go on and on.
You know DEEP, DEEP inside that what I'm saying is the truth. You're having such a difficult time accepting that and agreeing to it. You're on the defense right now, but you've got to push through. You have to MAKE yourself believe and overcome this stronghold.
Yes, someone on here actually cares for you, though some may not like you. It's not you, per se. It's what you're going through. You CAN be set free. It's up to you! :) Sorry, folks. I know this didn't have anything to do with the article, but I had to say what was on my heart. :)
PS If I don't accomplish anything by writing what I did, well at least I can say I tried!!

Handsome little fella! Thanks to these fine parents they're teaching their l'il man the love of nature. Someday, hopefully, he'll pass on down to his children the importance of family time. That's what it's all about! Sweet story!
