Just a guess but I bet Fayette MS is just a little different than Fayette MO. I doubt they bought any souveneirs while traveling through mighty Fayette.

Consolidation of the two hospitals would be the absolute best scenario Natchez could ever hope for. For a town our size, we DO NOT NEED 2 hospitals. If somehow the buyer and Ochsner's make this happen, I will be very optimistic for the future of medicine in Natcez. Think of the possibilites, NRMC could become the main Medical Center for intensive care, inpatient services, and Trauma/ER Receiving while Community could become an outpatient surgical center, Women's health/OB receiving, or even a place for Cancer care. Everyone should hope that this is indeed what happens in the end. It would be nice if Natchez citizens would start "shopping local" more often for the medical care.

What the article doesn't say is how many of their homeboys and homegirls they probably let past the register to do the exact same thing tha they were doing.
Don't be so naieve to think that this was concentrated to the employees involved. Oh no, I would bet money that there are plenty of "Wal-Mart Shoppers" they let pass on by committing the same crime.

Can't say I blame Bob on that one. I would be so fed up with the freakin' race card that I would have just walked out too. The race card as we call it isn't going anywhere, espeically when it benefits so many people.

This not only says something about West, but about the quality of leadership Natchez has had and has. I mean this dude was an Alderman and some people wonder what's wrong with Natchez?

Would've been nice to see some of her work to go along with all the nice words. I guess we'll just have to take the Democrat's fantastic journalistic word for it.
