I wish the city had renovated the FBC and used it for the juvenile facility, instead they built a brand new structure on State & Pearl. We had to build a welcoming center, also. We have to begin using what we have! This is crazy and it's all due to self-serving greedy politicians.

I remember Glenn attending my nephew's funeral in Atlanta and how sincere and sorrowful he was for our loss. Glenn was a big personality with a big heart.
My deepest sympathy to his family.

What about the fish in the fountain? How will the city assure their safety during the repairs? There are hundreds of fish in the fountain; I know, I feed them.
Please demand that the fish be saved!

This is an awful idea!!! This is what sets Natchez apart from other towns and cities, like Jackson! I think it may have been former mayor, Tony Byrne, who had the foresight to declare Natchez a resort area--this was one of the best things to have happened to Natchez.
If the mayor does this we will simply be another boring Mississippi town. This is what I do not like about north Miss. --that Baptist Bible Belt mentality.
WE DO NOT NEED THIS! NATCHEZ SHOULD REMAIN A RESORT DESTINATION NOT A BIBLE BELT BORE!!!!!!
On City may mandate bar closing times
