I am one of michael's teachers. It has been so very difficult to comprehend that he is gone and I won't see him walking down the hall or peeking into the window of my classroom door three or four times a day wanting to come in.
One of the students expressed her emotions by writing on the board that michael had one smile, one laugh, one walk and a big personality. She described him perfectly. This was micheal. He was very popular with the whole student body. Everyone loved him. He played every sport at the school. I can still remember the last day I saw him. It was Wednesday. He took his final exam in my class that day. When he finished, he told me , " I know I made a good grade on this test. It was easy because I studied my study guide." I praised him for that and gave him bubble gum. He loved bubble gum. Everyday he would help to clean the room after class just ot get some green flavor bubble gum. That was his favorite color. So therefore, I gave him the gum as usual and he ask to use the restroom. Not realizing he would make a couple of stops along the way. Several co-workers said he stopped by their class to say hello. I guess this was his farewell. Rest on michael, you will be greatly missed!!

Thanks Judge Booth. Finally someone has realized the value of a teacher. There should be more severe punishment for a student that does bodily harm to a teacher or damage the teacher's personal property. I can speak from personal experience. I am a teacher and this school year has been the worst I have ever had. I had my personal property damaged twice and have had students that tried to do bodily harm to me. The students never received any punishment. It is like a slap on the wrist. The laws and handbooks should be written to state that if a student inflicts bodily harm upon a teacher or damage the teacher's personal property, that student will be arrested and their parents should be made to pay a stiff fine.

Rest on cuz. I remember the last time we talked was at my father's funeral. We said that day that no one should wait until there is a tragic in the family to come together. We should do that more often. We talked about the good old days at New Morning star growing up in the Junior Church where you would play your heart and soul out on the piano and the organ . Unfortunely, we didn't get together again but we will meet again in heaven. Rest on "butch", you served well.

Mrs. Edena was avery loving mother, grandmother and a friend to all who knew her. She was a faithful christan. She loved to cook. One of her speciality was lemon pie. She would always make my son a pie whenever she heard he was coming to town. Boy, they were delicious. She will be greatly missed. Rest on faithful soldier. There are only a rare and few of you left.

I was Ashton's 7th grade Science Teacher at Ferriday Junior High School. He was a pleasure to teach. He was a very sweet kid. I am glad to have had the opportunity to teach and to get to know him. My prayers and thoughts are with his family. Rest on Ashton, you will forever be loved and missed.

I was one of cody's high school teachers at Davidson High School in St. Joseph, La. He was one of the most enjoyable kids to teach. He had a positive attitude about everything. He always kept a smile on his face. I taught him Home Economics. He loved to cook and he was actually very good at it. His classmates would always enjoy everything Cody cooked. Rest on Cody, you will be greatly missed.

Thanks Vidalia 1. I teach at Ferriday Junior High. At school on Friday there was not a dry eye in the whole building. He was so well liked until his death affected students at Vidalia Junior High also. My granddaughter goes to Vidalia Junior High and she said so many students were crying and upset about michael.
