The United Way has cut funding to all of their agencies and is putting all of the money that has been raised in the bank. When I give money, I want it to go to the people who need it the most, not into cds.

The Davis family will be missed. Both Chip and Cathy are wonderful people and their presence will be missed in Natchez

Alex Allain is right!
I am unable to see the justification in the matter of a cold blooded murder if this issue is look at from a Christian perspective. God sent Jesus Christ to Earth to save our souls and to preach love and compassion. For me, my mind cannot make the stretch that Dr. Tiller's cold blooded murder was just. Jesus came to reverse the Old Testament beliefs of an eye-for-an-eye. Also, who are we to judge anyone? We are all imperfect. Plain and simple. Who are we to not only judge someone for their actions (because judgement is for God alone) but also for someone to take it upon themselves and kill someone that they have judged and somehow deemed "unworthy." Proverbs 14:10-11 states "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." There is ABSOLUTELY NO justification for cold blooded murder.
Secondly, Dr. Tillman was a law abiding OBGYN. He only conducted late term abortions after the patient had the abortion signed off by TWO other doctors. In order for the abortion to take place, the mother or the baby's life had to be in dire jeopardy or in some cases, both. He had been investigated as recently as last year to find out if he acted within the boundaries of the law. They could not find an example in which he did not.
If people have a problem with the laws that are in place in our government, there is hope. We are fortunate to be citizens of a democratic society. Therefore, if we have serious issues with a law that is in place, PERSONALLY CONTACT a state senator or other government official who is in their position to be the mouth-piece of their constituents. Brutal acts of violence that take place against doctors who are practicing within the limits of the law are acts of domestic terrorists. Plain and simple.

How stupid could you be to suggest that you would have a police escort to your car after a night of drinking? Talk about irresponsible! Its no wonder that this happened? Why cant anyone think anymore?

I have two things to say to this:
The first, Gemmell says hogwash that the United way walked away from the food pantry but that is exactly what they did. If the United Way is not going to do anything any more, then why give to them? Cut out the middle man and go directly to the charities. The second thing, a goal of a hundred and fifty thousand? What a joke! After salaries what are they going to give away? Ten dollars?

What are they going to do with those babies when they are on a bike and it starts to snow? The area of the country that they are going to be traveling through next is experiencing snow fall right now. Child services needs to meet this family at the rockies.
