Why does the history and heratige of one group seem to make you feel inferior? Your quote above:

Well, you are quite versed in the thoughts of black people. You deserve a hand for being the first "racist, not racist, semi-racist, whatever, to understand the thoughts of every single black person as to know the intent of every one that might show up to an event. And exactly who posted that they would not come to an event because "white people might offend them"? This, baddog, is priceless. You give those blacks who choose to hate all of the ammunition they need which in turn does not make white people "look stupid and weak" it only makes you look that way!!!

I hope it's not true. That sounded like a fun event. You shouldn't judge about things, especially when you have not experienced them. The word "confederate" used to turn me against things until I realized that "confederate" itself is only a word. It is the power that people give it that makes it such a taboo word. Take the power away from words and give that power to people to use in a new and more productive way :) :)

sounds pretty cool. Did yall advertise for it? I would have come. My kids would have been awstruck by the cannon firing. Plus my son likes some country music. He likes all kinds of music which I am proud of him for. Sounds like it would have been a good lesson in history and some fun to mix. I am serious, the next time yall have that please advertise and I will bring them :) :)

You were a wonderful, wonderful patient. You would light up the office when you came. I used to look foward to seeing you so I could give you a hard time about LSU. I will miss you. Keep them laughing up there and I know you are somewhere up there near a big screen watching LSU!!! :) :)
